The Alliance of NGOs and CSOs for South-South Cooperation (ANCSSC) is a unifying umbrella organisation committed to expanding and facilitating South-South Cooperation, partnerships, and collaborations in development, humanitarian, and related spheres.
Our shared mission is to capacity build and empower organisations within the Global South. Through the dynamic exchange of knowledge, resources, skills, expertise, and innovative ideas, we aim to accelerate progress towards achieving the SDGs by 2030.
The Global South is a source of innovation and resilience, and we believe in harnessing this collective strength to address the most pressing global challenges. The ANCSSC serves as a nexus, connecting like-minded entities and facilitating collaboration and partnerships. On 7th of January, the leaders and representatives of Bangio Sanatan Brahmin Sanghathon, Imam and Muazzin Association with Amanat Foundation demonstrated a rally in Lalbagh subdivision to advocate for the rights of children. The banners and placards displayed were to promote awareness about child rights, child protection, child education and the end of child marriage. The Faith Leaders came forward to support the cause and demonstrated that the interfaith alliance works the society and for the future of the communities; children. It was a impactful movement that showed that the Faith leaders are motivated to advocate for the rights of children.

Activities of the interfaith alliance in Agrani High School to promote Mother and Child Health, Nutrition, Child Protection, WASH and education and it’s importance to the parents and students through an innovative cultural program. The Faith leaders of the State level interfaith Alliance were present in the venue to disseminate the technical as well as the religious messages. The program was organised by Ms Madhushree Chowdhury, who is an active member of the interfaith alliance and always works for social causes for children. We are lucky to have such wonderful people in the state level Interfaith Alliance. 18.12.2023.

On 14th of December, 2023, Amanat Foundation Trust with the support of UNICEF organised the State level interfaith alliance in Kolkata. The interfaith alliance is an alliance and team consisting of active members of different religions. The interfaith alliance takes lead in bringing positive changes in the society. Each member are doing something which makes a positive impact on the community and society as whole. The interfaith members showcased their activities over the past 3 months of the activities they were doing for the betterment of mothers and children. A committee for the state level interfaith alliance was formed with an advisory board and committee members from each religion.

On 10th of November, 2023, Amanat Foundation Trust organised a training on Protection from Sexual exploitation and Abuse (PSEA). The training focused on orientation of the vendors, volunteer’s and Amanat Foundation Trust on different core areas of PSEA. The training was given my Ms Paromita Neogi, PSEA specialist of UNICEF Kolkata and facilitated by Ms Suchorita Bardhan, Communication Specialist.
Amanat Foundation’s PSEA committee also made it very clear that Amanat Foundation has zero tolerance towards any kind of sexual exploitation or abuse and any incidents of SEA will be dealt with strictly.
