Announcing our calendar for 2026.
Prabodhendunath Tagore (1907-1965) is an artist who is all but forgotten. Informally trained, he conjured lyrical washes, while carrying elements of Indian-style painting with occasional modernist touches. Drawing on its visual archives, the JBMRC-CSSSC is proud to present a collection of his landscapes for its 2026 calendar, commemorating this remarkable artist and his faded legacy. Conceptualised by Tapati Guha Thakurta, and designed by Sujaan Mukherjee, the calendar is now available.
To pre-book a copy of the calendar, please contact Kamalika Mukherjee by emailing her at [email protected] or messaging 7994578422 (Whatsapp).
Please send your name, address and contact numbers, and indicate whether you would like to pick up the calendar from Jadunath Bhavan, 10 Lake Terrace, Kolkata 700029, or have it mailed it you at your address
