The KMC Health Department takes leading role in undertaking investigations and abatement of disease outbreaks all over the city employing epidemiological and diagnostic tools. It also provides referral diagnostic services to individuals, community, medical colleges, research institutions and state health directorates. It also conducts different modalities of IEC Programme at individual & community level to promote & protect health and prevent different diseases.
