Cyber Crime Crackdown -Kolkata Police
Kolkata Police Cyber Crime Branch arrested 3 individuals linked to an illegal call center operating from Maheshtala. The accused were impersonating global tech brands and targeting US citizens through VOIP-based fraud, remote access scams.
During raid police seized some digital devices include laptops, mobile phones, router, incriminating digital data and ₹2,06,000 cash.

The Cyber Crime Branch, Kolkata has successfully busted an illegal call centre operating fraudulent activities in the city.Acting on credible intelligence and technical analysis, a late-night raid led to: Arrest of 4 individuals involved in cyber fraud, seized multiple mobile devices & pre-activated SIM cards,and recovered multiple incriminating digital evidence.
The accused were running a well-organized online scam, impersonating identities on social media platforms to deceive citizens across India and siphon money through illegal means.
