Honorable Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Sh. Ravi Shankar Prasad will inaugurate 20 Common Service Centres (CSCs) run exclusively by Dalit women, at the event 'DISHA - Empowering Women through Digital Literacy' organized by CSC SPV in Gaya, Bihar on 08th August, 2015.

All the VLEs are requested to webcast the programme live and invite Women to watch it on 08th August, 12.30pm to 2.00pm

ALL VLES TO CELEBRATE DIGITAL INDIA WEEK

All participating VLEs will be paid up to Rs 300, for participating in the Digital India Week. Enclosed is the seven day plan.




Digital India initiative will be launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi on July 1, 2015.

All VLEs need to celebrate week long activities during the Digital India Week starting from 01st July to 07th July, 2015. VLEs have to webcast or telecast live footage of the Prime Minister’s speech during the Digital India Event launch event on 01st July, 2015. VLEs will be paid up to Rs. 300, for participating in the Digital India Week. In order to win exciting prizes and earn the incentive VLEs need to do the following:
Webcast the launch at their centre.
Decorate their CSC by putting banners/ poster etc
Undertake specific activity during the entire week
They need to log in / register on specific Digital India week application/page and report daily progress. (The website will be shared subsequently)

PFRDA ADVISES ALL NPS SUBSCRIBERS TO MIGRATE TO ATAL PENSION YOJNA

VLEs to guide the NPS-Lite / Swavalamban subscribers to Banks for migration of their PRAN account.


Following recent budget announcements for FY 2015-16 made by Government of India, a new pension scheme pension scheme “Atal Pension Yojana” with guaranteed pension benefits was introduced.

As per press release of GoI on APY, the existing NPS-Lite / Swavalamban subscribers will be migrated to APY, unless they opt out. As advised by PFRDA, All NPS-Lite / Swavalamban subscribers between 18 - 40 years with availability of bank accounts can migrate to Atal Pension Yojna, All VLE’s are advised to guide the NPS-Lite / Swavalamban subscribers to Banks for migration of their PRAN account.

Swavalamban scheme subscribers between 18 to 40 years of Age may approach their bank branches to submit the APY application along with PRAN card for migration to APY
The subscribers PRAN issued under Swavalamban scheme would continue to be retained in APY and new PRAN will not be issued
Swavalamban scheme subscribers without bank account will have to open a bank account and simultaneously submit the request for migration from Swavalamban to the APY to the bank
