Basic objective of the department is to make the farmers self dependent in irrigation to enhance agriculture production of the State. Every year on 15th August, India celebrates Independence Day of which we are quite used to, right!?? We became an independent country in the year 1947, thus a gazetted holiday is declared annually to commemorate this date.
Though it’s a fact that each one of us is born free, dies free and wants to live free, but still we achieved our well deserved Independence with great struggle and effort. Several freedom fighters and many great men sacrificed their lives to achieve nation’s freedom from the grip of British rule.
The Independence Day not only motivates us to love our country and be forever willing to sacrifice our lives for its honour and integrity, but it also asks us to provide our self-less service to the nation.
Seeking to eradicate every demerit from our country & spreading the message of peace & harmony must not be served as our duty towards the nation only but also towards Humanity.
