Menstrual Hygiene Day 2026.

This Menstrual Hygiene Day, let’s stop treating periods as a “hush-hush” topic.
If you have a son, teach him respect and sensitivity. If you have a daughter, give her confidence — not shame.

Menstruation is not weakness. It is not impurity. It is natural, healthy, and a part of life.

Real change begins at home — with conversations that are open, respectful, and free from stigma.
Let’s raise a generation that chooses awareness over awkwardness, dignity over silence.

Honoured to be the Chief Guest today at the launch of a very meaningful initiative by Pinkishe Foundation in partnership with Amazon India under Project Prayatna on Menstrual Hygiene Day. ( Pinkishe Foundation)

The awareness murals at Millennium City Centre Underpass beautifully transform public spaces into platforms for dialogue, dignity, and awareness around menstrual health. The launch of the Menstrual Awareness Van is another commendable step towards taking education, awareness, and support directly to communities across Delhi NCR and Haryana.

Breaking period stigma begins with conversation, compassion, and collective action. Compliments to Pinkishe Foundation and Amazon India for driving such impactful social change and creating a more informed, inclusive, and sensitive society.

Exploring the serene Jain temples of Khajuraho — from the शांत grace of Lord Shantinath, the divine aura of Parshvanath, to the timeless legacy of Adinath. A journey through faith, art, and history.

The Jain temples here, built between the 10th–12th centuries during the rule of the Chandela Dynasty, reflect a remarkable blend of spirituality and intricate craftsmanship.

The Parshvanath Temple, the largest among the Jain group, is dedicated to Parshvanath, the 23rd Tirthankara. Originally built around 950–970 CE, it is admired for its detailed carvings—depicting not just religious themes but also daily life, celestial beings, and graceful figures, showcasing the artistic peak of Khajuraho.

The Adinath Temple, devoted to Adinath, dates to the late 11th century. Though smaller, it stands out for its elegant proportions and finely sculpted exterior, reflecting the same architectural brilliance seen in the larger temples.

The Shantinath Temple, dedicated to Shantinath, is comparatively newer, with later additions over centuries. It houses a towering idol of Shantinath and remains an active place of worship, symbolizing peace and continuity of Jain devotion.

Together, these temples form a quieter, spiritual corner of Khajuraho—where history, devotion, and art come alive in every carved stone.
