📈 North Gujarat Region: Performance Review & Way Forward

Under the chairmanship of Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav, IPoS, Postmaster General, North Gujarat Region, a comprehensive performance review meeting for FY 2026-27 (up to August 2026) was held at the Regional Office, Ahmedabad, with Divisional Heads, Sub-Divisional Heads, all Assistant Superintendents, Inspectors of Posts and IPPB Managers.

The review covered Mail & Parcel services, International Mail, POSB, PLI/RPLI, Citizen centric services- Aadhaar, POPSK, Philately and IPPB with emphasis on key focus areas included time-bound achievement of targets, digital transformation, Citizen-Centric services, financial inclusion, outreach initiatives, micro-monitoring and accountability.

In his opening remarks, Postmaster General Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav, guided the officers on strengthening digital and citizen-centric services, promoting innovation and working towards the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat’. He also emphasised the development of ‘Atmanirbhar Branch Post Offices’ through the ‘Postal Warriors Campaign’ across North Gujarat Region.

📈Key achievements of North Gujarat Region:
• ₹110.85 crore revenue achieved up to August 2026, registering 55% growth over the corresponding period of the previous year.
• 5.10 lakh new Savings Accounts opened.
• 15,700 Sukanya Samriddhi Accounts opened.
• ₹145 crore PLI and ₹27 crore RPLI premium collected.
• 1.83 lakh Aadhaar services provided through post offices.
• 1,346 Sampoorna Sukanya Samriddhi Gram declared.
• 902 Sampoorna Bima Gram declared.
• 651 Sampoorna Bachat Gram declared.

🏆 Officers and officials were felicitated for their outstanding performance and exemplary contribution across Mail, Parcels, International Mail, PLI/RPLI, Aadhaar, Digital Services and the Postal Warriors Campaign.

✨ ‘स्वच्छता ही सेवा’ अभियान 2026 का शुभारंभ ✨

भारत सरकार के स्वच्छ भारत मिशन के तहत डाक विभाग द्वारा 17 सितंबर से 17 अक्टूबर 2026 तक ‘स्वच्छता ही सेवा’ अभियान चलाया जा रहा है। इस वर्ष की थीम है – “स्वच्छता में सहभागिता, स्वच्छ भारत, विकसित भारत”।

उत्तर गुजरात परिक्षेत्र, अहमदाबाद के पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने क्षेत्रीय कार्यालय के ‘मेघदूतम्’ सभागार में अधिकारियों एवं डाककर्मियों को स्वच्छता शपथ दिलाई।

इस अवसर पर अहमदाबाद मंडल के प्रवर डाक अधीक्षक शिशिर कुमार, गांधीनगर मंडल के प्रवर डाक अधीक्षक शुभम डोंगरदिवे, अहमदाबाद मंडल के डिप्टी सुप्रीटेंडेंट सुश्री एम. ए. पटेल, महेसाणा मंडल के डाक अधीक्षक श्री एस के वर्मा, साबरकांठा मंडल के डाक अधीक्षक श्री दीपक वाढेर, बनासकांठा मंडल के डाक अधीक्षक श्री हर्षद परमार, सहायक निदेशक श्री ए. आर. शाह, श्री वी. एम्. वहोरा, श्री रितुल गाँधी, आईपीपीबी चीफ मैनेजर अभिजीत जिभकाटे सहित विभाग के अन्य अधिकारी एवं कर्मचारी उपस्थित रहे।

📚 हिंदी पखवाड़ा 2026 का शुभारंभ 📚🇮🇳

“हिंदी मात्र एक भाषा नहीं, अपितु भारतीय संस्कृति, संस्कारों एवं जीवन मूल्यों की प्रबल संवाहक है।”

उत्तर गुजरात परिक्षेत्र, अहमदाबाद में पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने क्षेत्रीय कार्यालय में मां सरस्वती के चित्र पर माल्यार्पण एवं दीप प्रज्वलित कर ‘हिंदी दिवस’ एवं ‘हिंदी पखवाड़ा’ (14–28 सितंबर 2026) का शुभारंभ किया।

इस अवसर पर श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने कहा कि हिंदी केवल संवाद और साहित्य की भाषा नहीं, बल्कि विज्ञान, सूचना-प्रौद्योगिकी, संचार-क्रांति एवं नवाचार की भाषा भी है। बदलते समय की चुनौतियों के अनुरूप हिंदी को राजभाषा, संपर्क भाषा एवं ज्ञानभाषा के रूप में और अधिक समृद्ध बनाने के लिए इसका तकनीकी एवं व्यावहारिक विस्तार आवश्यक है।

उन्होंने सभी डाककर्मियों का आह्वान किया कि आत्मविश्वास के साथ हिंदी में कार्य करें और राजकीय कार्यों में हिंदी के प्रयोग को प्राथमिकता देकर इसके विकास में अपना योगदान दें।

🎯 हिंदी पखवाड़ा के अंतर्गत उत्तर गुजरात परिक्षेत्र में डाककर्मियों के लिए विभिन्न प्रतियोगिताओं एवं गतिविधियों का आयोजन किया जाएगा, जिनमें—
