*मोतीहारी अभियंत्रण महाविद्यालय में सेंटर ऑफ एक्सीलेंस की अभिनव पहल, ‘टोटल स्टेशन’ कार्यशाला का प्रथम सप्ताह सफलतापूर्वक पूर्ण।*

मोतीहारी अभियंत्रण महाविद्यालय, मोतीहारी के असैनिक अभियंत्रण विभाग में स्थापित सेंटर ऑफ एक्सीलेंस (CoE) इन बिल्डिंग इंफॉर्मेशन मॉडलिंग (BIM) एवं जियोग्राफिक इंफॉर्मेशन सिस्टम (GIS) द्वारा आयोजित दो सप्ताह की “हैंड्स-ऑन वर्कशॉप ऑन टोटल स्टेशन सर्वेक्षण एवं लेआउट प्रिपरेशन” का प्रथम सप्ताह सफलतापूर्वक पूर्ण हो गया है। यह कार्यशाला 16 फरवरी 2026 से प्रारंभ हुई है और विद्यार्थियों को आधुनिक सर्वेक्षण तकनीकों का व्यावहारिक प्रशिक्षण प्रदान कर रही है।

इस सेंटर ऑफ एक्सीलेंस की स्थापना डॉ. नीरज कुमार द्वारा इस उद्देश्य से की गई है कि सिविल इंजीनियरिंग के छात्र-छात्राएं नई एवं उभरती हुई तकनीकों का ज्ञान प्राप्त कर सकें और उन्हें उद्योग की आवश्यकताओं के अनुरूप कौशल-आधारित प्रशिक्षण मिल सके। केंद्र का उद्देश्य स्किल-बेस्ड एवं इंडस्ट्री-ओरिएंटेड ट्रेनिंग, एड-ऑन/वैल्यू-एडेड कोर्स, हैंड्स-ऑन प्रैक्टिकल एक्सपोजर तथा सर्टिफिकेशन के अवसर उपलब्ध कराना है, जिससे छात्रों की रोजगार क्षमता और तकनीकी दक्षता में वृद्धि हो।

कार्यशाला में विशेषज्ञ प्रशिक्षक श्री राजू कुमार पटेल (12+ वर्ष का सिविल इंजीनियरिंग अनुभव) द्वारा विद्यार्थियों को टोटल स्टेशन उपकरण के संचालन, फील्ड सर्वेक्षण, डेटा कलेक्शन, डेटा प्रोसेसिंग एवं साइट प्लान तैयार करने की तकनीकों का प्रशिक्षण दिया जा रहा है। उनके मार्गदर्शन में छात्र वास्तविक फील्ड परिस्थितियों में कार्य कर व्यावहारिक अनुभव प्राप्त कर रहे हैं। उल्लेखनीय है कि गत वर्ष भी इस प्रकार की कार्यशाला का सफल आयोजन किया गया था, जिससे विद्यार्थियों को अत्यंत लाभ मिला था।

आगामी महीनों में CoE के अंतर्गत विभिन्न उन्नत पाठ्यक्रम आयोजित किए जाएंगे, जिनमें QGIS, STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, Soil Testing, MS Project, Remote Sensing, ETABS एवं Applied GIS जैसे विषय शामिल हैं।
महाविद्यालय के प्राचार्य प्रोफेसर (डॉ.) नवनीत कुमार ने इस पहल की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि इस प्रकार की व्यावहारिक कार्यशालाएं छात्रों को तकनीकी रूप से सशक्त बनाती हैं। वहीं विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ. अनिल कुमार छोटू ने कहा कि विभाग का लक्ष्य छात्रों को सैद्धांतिक ज्ञान के साथ-साथ व्यावहारिक दक्षता प्रदान करना है, ताकि वे भविष्य की चुनौतियों का सफलतापूर्वक सामना कर सकें।

सेंटर ऑफ एक्सीलेंस की यह पहल निश्चित रूप से असैनिक अभियंत्रण शिक्षा को नई दिशा देने की ओर एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम सिद्ध हो रही हैं ।
