Empowering MSEs, Strengthening India
Driving inclusive growth and strengthening India’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), (NAPS), organised a Vendor Development Programme for Micro and Small Enterprises at Aligarh in association with NSIC, Ministry of MSME. Aligned with the Public Procurement Policy for MSEs (2012), the initiative focused on enhancing participation of MSEs, including SC/ST and women-led enterprises, in NPCIL’s procurement processes across its pan India operations. With participation from around 50 entrepreneurs, the programme served as a vibrant platform for industry interaction and knowledge sharing on NPCIL’s procurement lifecycle, GeM portal onboarding, and key initiatives such as Make in India, TReDS, and Zero Defect Zero Effect (ZED).
Senior officials from NPCIL, NSIC, and District Industries Centre highlighted the pivotal role of MSEs in driving economic growth, innovation, and employment, while reaffirming NPCIL’s commitment to ensuring a transparent, inclusive, and level playing field for all stakeholders in nation-building.

At the ET Government Rajasthan Energy Conclave, experts from across the energy sector discussed how integrated energy ecosystems will play a crucial role in shaping India’s sustainable energy future.
Representing NPCIL, Shri S***A RAO DASARI, Outstanding Scientist & Site Director, RR Site, highlighted the importance of nuclear energy in providing reliable, clean and sustainable base-load power for the nation’s long-term energy security.
The discussion also emphasized the need for strong transmission networks, energy storage, manufacturing capabilities and cleaner fuel infrastructure to support India’s growing clean energy ambitions.
As India moves towards a low-carbon future, nuclear energy continues to remain a key pillar of energy security, grid stability and sustainable development.

Strengthening Regional Cooperation through Knowledge Exchange
NPCIL interacted with a delegation of 26 journalists from the Diplomatic Correspondents Association of Bangladesh (DCAB) during their visit to ACTREC/TMH, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. The visit was coordinated by the Ministry of External Affairs and the Department of Atomic Energy.
Shri P.S. Karthigeyan, Joint Secretary (External Relations & Power), DAE highlighted the strong relationship shared by India and Bangladesh, including cooperation in the field of nuclear energy and the shared commitment towards peace, prosperity and sustainable development.
Shri Umed Yadav, Head (Corporate Communications), NPCIL and Shri M.M. Patro, Associate Director (Engg-LWR), NPCIL presented the journey of nuclear power in India, its current status, future expansion plans and recent developments in the sector.
The interaction also covered India’s contribution towards the Rooppur Nuclear Power Project of Bangladesh, followed by an engaging exchange of views with the visiting delegation.
On the occasion, talks were also given by Director & faculty of ACTREC/TMH.

स्वच्छ रावतभाटा, स्वस्थ भविष्य
Clean Rawatbhata, Sustainable Tomorrow
Transforming intent into impact, Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), , spearheaded the Clean Rawatbhata Drive under its initiative, setting a benchmark in community-led sustainability.
Launched in collaboration with Nagar Palika Rawatbhata, SHGs, and local stakeholders, the campaign focused on improving sanitation, reducing plastic usage, and promoting scientific waste management practices.
Extensive cleaning of roads, drains, and garbage hotspots, combined with impactful awareness initiatives, ensured visible on-ground transformation.
A key highlight was the distribution of over 30,000 eco-friendly canvas bags, empowering citizens to move away from polythene and adopt sustainable habits.
The initiative not only enhanced cleanliness across but also ignited strong community participation, laying a robust foundation for a cleaner, greener, and more responsible future.

संसदीय राजभाषा समिति की आलेख एवं साक्ष्य उप-समिति ने Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited की जैतापुर परमाणु विद्युत परियोजना (रत्नागिरी) एवं काइगा साइट में राजभाषा हिंदी के क्रियान्वयन की समीक्षा की।
एनपीसीआईएल के वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों द्वारा प्रस्तुत प्रयासों और उपलब्धियों पर संतोष व्यक्त करते हुए समिति ने संगठन में राजभाषा हिंदी के प्रभावी उपयोग एवं प्रोत्साहन की सराहना की।

Landmark Progress at Kudankulam
India’s nuclear energy programme achieves another decisive milestone.
Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB) has accorded permission for Major Equipment Er****on at Units 5 & 6 of Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project (KKNPP).
This enables Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) to move ahead with installation of critical systems including Reactor Pressure Vessel, Steam Generators and Coolant Pumps, bringing the project closer to realization.
The approval followed from comprehensive multi-tier safety reviews by AERB, reaffirming adherence to stringent national regulations and global benchmarks, including IAEA standards.
Kudankulam Units 5 & 6 stand as a testament to India’s commitment to safe, clean and reliable nuclear power, driving energy security and sustainable growth.
