We are proud to share the on-ground progress of our Railway Electrification project at Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA), covering Lines 9, 9A & VCTPL Siding under Waltair Division, East Coast Railway, Andhra Pradesh.
The scope includes Design, Supply, Er****on, Testing & Commissioning of 25 kV AC, 50 Hz Single Phase Tramway-type Overhead Equipment (OHE) — a critical upgrade to the existing Rail Transport System at VPA.

A major milestone has been achieved in the 2-lane ROB & approaches project at L.C. No. 104E/spl.3 between Cherukuwada & Undi Railway Station on NH-214 (New NH-165). The 46 m span composite girders between P8–P9 have been successfully launched after safe traffic diversion and level crossing closure.
The next phase includes X-frame fixing and girder placement on spherical bearings, with road opening planned shortly. This marks another step towards safer and smoother connectivity in the region by IPRCL.

Shri Bramhvihari Swami, Chief Priest of Swaminarayan Temple UAE, along with Mr. Pete Sessions, Member of the United States House of Representatives, visited the NMHC project on 7th May.
During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the project’s progress and key developments. The team also discussed various aspects of the project at the site.

CGM/Projects/VSKP/IPRCL visited the R&D Yard site along with Manager/Civil/VSKP/IPRCL and contractor officials to review the ongoing railway track maintenance works within the premises of VPA.
The project includes maintenance of approximately 20 km of railway tracks along with 65 points and crossings. The 1st year maintenance work has been completed successfully, while the 2nd year maintenance activities are currently in progress.

Officials from Indian Port Rail & Ropeway Corporation Limited led by CGM/Projects/VSKP/IPRCL visited the Fishing Harbour Modernization & Upgradation Project site and reviewed the progress of ongoing civil and infrastructure works, including Auction Hall–2, Parking Building, Cold Chamber, and Packing Unit.
The visit focused on timely ex*****on and effective coordination to strengthen fishing harbour infrastructure and support the fisheries sector. IPRCL is executing the project as Project Management Consultant (PMC).

The Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) JVRB Siding Station at Sathupally has been successfully commissioned with an Electronic Interlocking (EI) system integrated with the MSDAC system for coal dispatch from the JVR Coal Handling Plant to the SC–BDCR section of South Central Railway.
This modern signalling and telecommunication upgrade enhances operational safety, improves traffic handling capacity, and ensures seamless movement of loaded and empty rakes, enabling faster, safer, and more efficient coal evacuation from the siding.
IPRCL served as the PMC for the successful ex*****on of the project.

MD / IPRCL, along with Director Works, visited the NMHC Lothal project to review the progress of ongoing works and overall project development activities.
During the visit, the team inspected the project site, reviewed technical progress, and discussed upcoming work plans for the smooth and timely ex*****on of the project.

Hon’ble Union Minister Shri Sarbananda Sonowal visited the Sonia Vihar Recreational Tourism Park on River Yamuna, New Delhi, and reviewed the tourism and recreational facilities being developed by Indian Port Rail & Ropeway Corporation Ltd. (IPRCL).
The visit included inspection of floating jetties, river cruise facilities, onshore infrastructure, passenger amenities, safety arrangements, and future development plans aimed at promoting eco-friendly river tourism and riverfront development in Delhi.
