🔶Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd (MDL) marked a significant milestone with the Keel Laying Ceremony of the third 7500 DWT Multi-Purpose Hybrid Vessel (Yard 21003) being built for Navi Merchants, Denmark, at MDL South Yard on 20 May 2026.
🔸The ceremony was graced by Mr. Rasmus Saltofte, CEO, Navi Merchants, along with senior officials from Navi Merchants, DNV and MDL.
🔶The vessel, equipped with a Hybrid Propulsion System, reflects MDL’s growing expertise in green and future-ready shipbuilding solutions for the global maritime sector.

🔶The delegation toured key facilities of the yard, followed by a presentation and engaging discussions led by Mr. Biju George, Director (Shipbuilding), MDL.
🔶The visit showcased MDL’s shipbuilding excellence, indigenous defence manufacturing capabilities, and contributions towards strengthening India’s maritime security and self-reliance in defence production.

🔶Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL) has reported exceptional financial results, marking a significant milestone in its growth trajectory, the company recorded a consolidated revenue from operations of ₹13006.31crore, reflecting a robust year-on-year growth of 14%. In parallel, consolidated Profit After Tax (PAT) soared to ₹ 2578 crore, representing a 7% increase over the corresponding period of the previous year.
🔶This outstanding performance is a testament to MDL’s strong operational ex*****on, enhanced productivity, and strategic positioning as a leader in India’s defence shipbuilding industry. 🔶 today delivered the Fourth Stealth Frigate of the P17A Class, Mahendragiri to the . The acceptance document (D448) was signed by Capt. Jagmohan, CMD, MDL, and RAdm Gautam Marwaha, VSM, CSO (Tech) ENC, in the presence of senior officials from MDL and the Indian Navy. The delivery of this ship is a testament to MDL's professionalism, expertise, and experience in constructing complex war platforms, significantly enhancing the might of the Indian Navy.

🔶Under its CSR initiatives, MDL supported KEM Hospital, Mumbai for procurement of a CUSA – Cavitatory Ultrasonic Suction & Aspirator for Dept. of Surgical Gastroenterology.
🔸The machine was inaugurated by Dr Sangeeta Ravat, Dean, KEM Hospital on 24.04.2026 in presence of Mr Arun K Chand, ED(HR)/HoD(CSR), MDL & senior officials.
🔸This will benefit patients undergoing liver resection & transplant.
