The upcoming ecologically destructive Vadhwan port project has been shut down multiple times, because the people just don't want it and protested multiple times over many years. The current govt has again pulled it out like a walking dead ghost.

In a so-called democracy, private business interests keep resurrecting defective and harmful designs that the people just don't want. These will be remembered as the India's days of ecological genocide in a massive scale

After refusing to improve local train services to virar, even though it is possible, killing 14 people on the railway tracks every day for many years

After AQI crossed new highs in a coastal city predicted to go underwater

After already having given permission for cutting an average of 40 land trees per day very day for the last 10 years = 150,000+ trees cut legally+ other trees cut illegally+ even more trees cut for govt projects

Now they want to cut even more mangroves on the coast

To promote more private cars, more pollution, more cement, more heatwaves, more cancer, more displaced livelihoods of indigenous people...

more contracts in the pockets of politicians and corrupt officials.
