📣Announcement: Earlier this year, we onboarded agri-tech startup Craste into Scale-Up, our no-equity accelerator!

Craste is pioneering advanced technologies to transform low-value crop waste, particularly rice straw and mustard stubble into food-grade biodegradable pulp sheets and packaging material. It also transforms crop waste into India’s first formaldehyde-free engineered green particle boards for furniture applications using its patented Blending Technology.

Over the next few years at Scale-Up, Craste will receive bespoke strategic and functional mentorship on its INR 1-100 crores annual revenue growth journey, to create environmental impact at scale while solving India’s problem of stubble waste.

On the eve of , celebrating the indomitable spirit of women & the power of inclusion in India's startup ecosystem! From less than two dozen startups in 2015 to over 1,12,000 today, women have been pivotal in driving this phenomenal growth, nurtured by the Government of India’s flagship initiative, Startup India.

🚀💚 Among them, over 600 startups are in the climate tech space, with a significant 39% led by women directors. These trailblazers, many from tier-two and tier-three cities, are making waves in green technology, renewable energy, waste management, and more—contributing to a future.

Today, Marico Innovation Foundation organised the Plastics Program Roundup 2023-24, where we hosted startups from our portfolio. Our focus was to review the impact of plastic waste management solutions and provide an opportunity for the innovators to interact with Mr. Harsh Mariwala, Founder, MIF.
