Perfection is a pedestal, but presence is a gift.
A "Good Enough" mother or mother figure isn't someone who does it all; she is someone who shows up, stays present, and provides a safe harbor, even when the house or schedule is in chaos. By prioritizing a caregiver's mental well-being, we inherently secure a child’s future.

Look past the tasks and see the human. Whether it’s your mother, a guardian, or a mentor, tell them they are more than enough.

Recovery doesn’t fail because people aren’t trying.
It often struggles because the environment around them hasn’t changed.
When families are left out of the process, misunderstandings, stress, and old patterns can quietly interfere with progress.
Family counselling helps bridge this gap, by building understanding, shifting communication, and creating a more supportive space for recovery.
Because healing isn’t just personal.
It’s shaped by the relationships we return to every day.

Somewhere between the cheers, the miles, and the noise, we met some truly inspiring people.
Organizations doing thoughtful, tireless work for social change, reminding us that impact grows best in community.
Always grateful, always curious, always open to collaborating with like-minded change-makers! It was lovely to meet team members from and at the Tata Mumbai Marathon!
If you’re building something meaningful, we’d love to connect. 🌱

What begins as “behaviour issues” often turns out to be something deeper... something that needs assessment, patience, and the right intervention.
Through IEC’s OPDs, we aim to make mental health care accessible and affordable, meeting families where they are.
Since April 2025, our Swatah OPD at Aarogya Clinic, Powai has supported:
• 40 families
• 106 individuals (50 males, 56 females)
Across children, adolescents, siblings, parents, and elders.
In February 2025, we began our IEC OPD at our JB Nagar office.
So far, we have supported:
• 4 families
• 12 individuals (6 males, 6 females)
Early screening.
Guided intervention.
Family involvement.
Structured planning.
When support is consistent and affordable, change becomes possible.

Happy IEC Establishment Day!
For 47 years, IEC has been committed to advocating for the wellbeing of children and adolescents, working toward a world where young people are not only protected, but also heard, supported, and able to grow with dignity and care.
As conversations around child and adolescent mental health become more urgent than ever, we remain grounded in a promise of continued care... to show up, to listen deeply, and to stand by every child and young person who needs support, not just today, but every day.
We are grateful for the journey so far and steadfast in our commitment to the work that lies ahead.
Here are a few glimpses from our Celebration last month, filled with gratitude and renewed purpose.

Child Safety Week 2025 💪
Child Sexual Abuse remains one of India’s most urgent yet under-addressed issues. To strengthen awareness and collective responsibility, Team IEC was proud to collaborate with Arpan, the nation’s leading organisation working to prevent Child Sexual Abuse, during Child Safety Week.
This year’s theme, , delivers an uncompromising message of enforcement and deterrence:
👉 Child Sexual Abuse is a punishable offence. If you abuse a child, the law will catch you.
Through our engagements with students, teachers, doctors, and caregivers, we worked to:
• Build awareness about CSA
• Strengthen understanding of the POCSO Act
• Encourage reporting and collective vigilance
• Empower communities to act, not stay silent
A heartfelt thank you to Arpan for equipping us with the tools, training, and partnership to make this week truly impactful.
Together, let’s work toward a future where every child is protected, believed, and safe. 🧡
