Glimpses from the Technical Exhibition | RCA 2026

Delegates of the 48th NRM explored the technology exhibition showcasing the non-power applications of nuclear science and technology across healthcare, agriculture, water, industry, and environmental sustainability. Scientists and engineers from DAE institutions interacted with participants, highlighting solutions that improve lives and support .

The DAE Pavilion reflected the spirit of through sustainability-conscious artwork crafted from repurposed packaging materials, weaving a narrative of shared innovation, resource stewardship, and science partnership in service of humanity throughout the exhibition.

Glimpses from the Technical Visit | RCA 2026

Delegates of the 48th Meeting of RCA National Representatives visited Adavanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer of DAE's Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), India's premier institution for cancer research, treatment, and education in Navi Mumbai. The programme included presentations by TMC leaders and visits to advanced healthcare facilities.

During the visit, Dr. Ajit Kumar Mohanty, Secretary, DAE & Chairman, Atomic Energy Commission, addressed the delegates. Presentations by DAE institutions on non-power applications of nuclear science and technology highlighted how science, innovation, and can work together to advance healthcare, societal wellbeing, and across the Asia-Pacific region.

Glimpses from the Cultural and DAE Visits | RCA 2026

As part of the 48th Meeting of RCA National Representatives, delegates visited the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya, a UNESCO World Heritage site in Mumbai, for an enriching experience of India’s history, art, and cultural heritage. The visit offered an opportunity to appreciate how knowledge, craftsmanship, science, and innovation have shaped civilisations across centuries. Such cultural exchanges foster deeper understanding, strengthen people-to-people connections, and contribute to the spirit of cooperation that lies at the heart of .

Senior officials of DAE welcomed and addressed the delegates at the DAE Secretariat in Mumbai. The interaction provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives on and India's continued commitment to advancing the peaceful applications of nuclear energy for shared progress.

Towards : DAE Engages Industry Representatives on Roadmap

DAE organised an 'Industry Consultation on Nuclear Energy Roadmap' under the Chairmanship of the Secretary, DAE & Chairman, AEC.

The consultation witnessed participation from senior officials of DAE, its constituent units, and representatives from major Indian industries. During the programme, deliberations were held on various aspects relating to the Nuclear Energy Roadmap and Sustainable Harnessing and Advancement of Nuclear Energy for Transforming India Act 2025, strengthening Indian industry participation, and enhancing collaboration between DAE and industries in the nuclear energy sector.

Industry representatives shared valuable suggestions and inputs during the interactive session. The consultation provided an important platform for the exchange of views and discussions towards achieving the long-term goals of the country.

Partnership for Peace, Progress, and Prosperity

The 48th Meeting of National Representatives under the Regional Cooperative Agreement of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), hosted by the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, commenced today in Navi Mumbai. Statements delivered during the inaugural session by Shri Vivek Bhasin, Director, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre; Shri Rajeev Keswani, Head, NCPW, DAE; and Representatives of India and the IAEA reaffirmed the commitment to regional cooperation through peaceful applications of nuclear science and technology.

As India assumes the RCA Chairmanship for 2026, the Meeting of National Representatives from 22 Asia-Pacific countries heralds a new beginning in our long-standing partnership for peace, progress, and prosperity.

IREL (India) Limited, जो DAE का एक प्रमुख सार्वजनिक उपक्रम है, ने 13–15 मई 2026 के दौरान पुणे में आयोजित संसदीय राजभाषा समिति की प्रथम उप-समिति की निरीक्षण बैठक में अपना राजभाषा प्रतिवेदन प्रस्तुत किया। इस अवसर पर CMD, IREL (India) Limited द्वारा समिति के माननीय सदस्यों का अभिनंदन एवं सम्मान किया गया।

निरीक्षण के दौरान कार्यालयीन कार्यों में हिंदी के प्रयोग, द्विभाषीय पत्राचार तथा राजभाषा नीति के प्रभावी क्रियान्वयन की विस्तृत समीक्षा की गई। समिति द्वारा IREL (India) Limited में राजभाषा हिंदी के प्रचार-प्रसार एवं अनुपालन हेतु किए जा रहे प्रयासों की सराहना की गई। साथ ही, हिंदी जागरूकता कार्यक्रमों, हिंदी पखवाड़ा, राजभाषा प्रशिक्षण तथा प्रोत्साहन योजनाओं को और अधिक प्रभावी एवं व्यापक बनाने पर विशेष बल दिया गया।

IREL (India) Limited ने भारत सरकार की राजभाषा नीति के अनुरूप प्रशासनिक, तकनीकी एवं आधिकारिक संचार में हिंदी के प्रगतिशील प्रयोग के प्रति अपनी प्रतिबद्धता पुनः दृढ़ता से व्यक्त की। यह निरीक्षण राजभाषा हिंदी के संवर्धन, उसके व्यावहारिक उपयोग तथा सरकारी कार्यों में हिंदी के अधिकाधिक प्रयोग को प्रोत्साहित करने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण पहल सिद्ध हुआ।
