The NSS Atharva B-57 Unit participated in the Clean Up Premier League (CPL), organized by For Future India in collaboration with Go Shoonya and Suhaan Foundation, marking a commendable effort towards environmental conservation. Held at Manori Beach, CPL embodies a unique approach to beach restoration by infusing the spirit of competition. On Day 2 of CPL, the beach became a bustling arena where teams from various colleges converged to tackle the task of revitalizing our coastal ecosystems. With NSS Atharva B-57 Unit allocated Zone 8, a sense of ownership and responsibility permeated the volunteers as they embarked on their cleanup mission. The efficient allocation of zones ensured a systematic approach to the cleanup, optimizing the utilization of resources and manpower. As more than 140 dedicated volunteers rolled up their sleeves, the collective impact of their efforts rippled across the sandy shores, leaving behind a trail of positive change. Beyond the mere act of picking up litter, CPL transcends into a symbol of community engagement and environmental stewardship. With Day 2 heralding a resounding success, anticipation brews for the subsequent days of CPL, as each sunrise brings with it new opportunities to nurture our planet and inspire others to join the movement towards a cleaner, greener future.
