Bhujbal foundation was founded with a sole intention to help the people realize their dreams and potential. To achieve our target we have taken up various activities and events. One such vertical is jewelry making
Jewelry Making
Jewellery making might seem to be a very fashion oriented activity; however this activity aims at providing financial stability to women and aim at ultimate women empowerment by making eco-friendly high quality imitation jewelry by hand through adivasis villages and self-help groups (Bachatgats)
The Process
In this activity our team goes city to city, finding markets where they can purchase raw materials which include glass beads, bronze items and other such traditional raw materials. A special care is taken that these items are eco friendly and serve the core purpose of helping the traditional artisans earn some money.
The team then makes some samples with the raw materials. The samples are then taken to villages and Self-help Groups (Bachatgats) where women are trained to make copies of the same. This helps the women earn some money with dignity.
