Strengthening monsoon safety awareness, readiness, and operational vigilance through a Safety Seminar on Monsoon Patrolling at Ratnagiri.

A Safety Seminar on Monsoon Patrolling was held at Ratnagiri on 03.06.2026, chaired by Shri.Santosh Kumar Jha,CMD/KRCL, presided with Dir.(W & W) along with Senior Officials & Staff from the Ratnagiri & Karwar regions, strengthening monsoon safety awareness & readiness.

KRCL organized a Trade Meet at Ratnagiri on 03.06.2026, with valued freight customers, showcasing freight infrastructure upgrades across the network. The meet was chaired by Shri Santosh Kumar Jha, CMD/KRCL, presided with Dir.(W&W)/KRCL, COM/KRCL, RRM/RN, RRM/KAWR and DGM/CWC along with senior KR officials and Industry Stakeholders.

Promoting health and wellness!
A Yoga Programme was organized at Kajali Club, Ratnagiri. Smt. Mahadevi Arbole, Yoga Teacher from Patanjali, demonstrated yoga practices and their benefits. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from 52 employees and family members.

KRCL signed an MoU with South Eastern Coalfields Ltd. for Strategic Partnership in Construction & Maintenance of Rail Infrastructure under Indian Railways’ DP/HAM Model for SECL Coalfields & allied services.

The MoU was signed at Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh in the presence of Shri Sunil Gupta, Director (O&C)/KRCL, Shri N. Franklin Jayakumar, Director Technical (Ops.), along with CMD/SECL, Directors & Other Officials.

As part of the ongoing Fire Safety Drive, a fire fighting demonstration was conducted at DRSD/Verna on 29.05.26. A total of 44 employees participated in the program, enhancing fire safety awareness and preparedness. 🧯
