Hon'ble HUAM, Sh. launched the Swachha App for West Bengal in Kolkata in the presence of Chief Minister Sh. Suvendu Adhikari and State Minister in-charge of Municipal Affairs, Smt. Agnimitra Paul. The Union Minister chaired a State Reveiw Meeting on SBM-U 2.0.

Currently, the app will enable citizens of 10 municipalities of West Bengal to report sanitation issues through geo-tagged photos for faster municipal action.

The 100 TPD MRF & 500 TPD Compost Plants at Dhapa, Kolkata support sustainable waste management through material recovery, landfill diversion, and compost production. Team SBM-U assessed operational systems & measures to further enhance efficiency.
