Being Citizen BeingCitizen crowdsources local, state level grievances & presents it to elected leaders in an actionable form, thereby digitizing a section of democracy.

Write to us, If you wish to use our technology and leverage our Changemaker network. BeingCitizen is a hyperlocal social media network that is themed on Governance. It allows local Government machinery to establish closer lines of communication and compete with other change-making agents in the society that we reside in (namely, NGOs, Corporate CSR, Citizen Sector Organizations). The impact area of BeingCitizen is derived from the purview of power that these Local Governments share. It extends from Water, Electricuty, Public Health & Sanitation, Law & Order to Tourism & Culture and Corruption & Vigilance. From getting themselves a tubewell, to fighting sexual misconduct in school, the empowerment of some of these 14 year olds will take you by surprise. We promise. A successful submission and a fruitful conclusion of one of our most intense campaigns. BSES was ever so supportive in helping us understand their Plan of Action around the overhanging electric wires and bent poles in East Delhi. An overhaul of wiring system, and a combination of 'looping connections' is on its way.
