Protest Call by JNU NSUI

The National Students’ Union of India (NSUI), JNU strongly condemns the Brahminical and regressive act of Warden Vaniki Joshi Lohani for removing Babasaheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s portrait from Tapti Hostel.

This is a direct attack on the ideals of social justice and Babasaheb’s legacy.

On the occasion of Jyotiba Phule Jayanti, JNU NSUI reaffirms its commitment to the anti-caste legacy of Jyotiba Phule. We recognize that true liberation begins with the dismantling of Brahminical hegemony and the democratization of knowledge. Phule taught us that education is the most potent weapon against the "Gulamgiri" of caste-based oppression; today, as we witness systematic attempts to exclude Dalit-Bahujan voices from campuses and academia, his mission is more relevant than ever. We stand in solidarity with the marginalized to challenge institutional hierarchies and ensure that JNU remains a space for social justice, not inherited privilege. Let us honor his memory by continuing the struggle for an egalitarian society free from the shackles of Varna and Jati.
Jai Bhim, Jai Samvidhan✊️

Aawaz-E-Indira echoes through JNU!

As part of NSUI’s 56th Foundation Day celebrations, JNU NSUI successfully organized “Aawaz-E-Indira” — an evening filled with student voices, vibrant dialogue, soulful music, and collective energy.

Students came together on the lawns, sharing thoughts, enjoying live performances, and celebrating the spirit of unity, culture, and empowerment on campus.

Honoured to have NSUI National President Shri Vinod Jakhar with us, whose presence inspired everyone.

This is what NSUI stands for — amplifying student voices and building a stronger, more united campus!

Jai NSUI! Jai Indira! ✊❤️

Tonight, under the stars at Sabarmati T-Point, we came together to honour the supreme sacrifice of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev on Shaheed Diwas 2026.

With candles lit in their memory, we reaffirmed our unbreakable commitment to their revolutionary vision — an India that is truly egalitarian, progressive, secular, and fearless in the face of injustice.

In these challenging times when voices of dissent are targeted, their ideas continue to inspire us to resist, organise, and fight for justice, equality, and democracy.

A big thank you to every comrade, student, and friend who joined us. Your presence made this tribute powerful and meaningful.

The flame of Inquilab burns brighter because of each one of you.

Inquilab Zindabad! ✊🔥🕯️
Jai Hind! 🇮🇳

23 March – Shaheed Diwas 🇮🇳🔥

Today we remember and salute Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev – the fearless revolutionaries who gave their lives for an India free from exploitation, inequality, and imperialism.

Their dreams were not just of independence, but of a truly egalitarian, progressive, and scientific India where every voice is heard and every citizen is equal.

In times when dissent is being silenced, institutions attacked, and the very idea of democracy challenged — the ideas of Bhagat Singh remain our strongest weapon and guiding light.

As heirs to their revolutionary legacy, JNU NSUI invites the entire student community to come together and reaffirm our commitment to the values they sacrificed everything for.

📅 Date: 23rd March
🕖 Time: 7:00 PM
📍 Venue: Sabarmati T-Point, JNU

Let us gather in large numbers to pay our tributes and to declare — Inquilab Zindabad! ✊

Join us. Reclaim their vision. Resist. Organise. Fight.
