Mathili Literature IN UPSC

Which are the common difficulties that the students face while studying Maithili as an optional in UPSC ( mains ).

1 . STUDY MATERIAL : The sufficient study material is not available in Delhi or in Patna . The teachers hide the source of study materials from students .

2 .TEACHERS : Teachers are not up to the mark . They have learnt Maithili after it's addition in the UPSC syllabus . There are few teachers who are cheat student not only by money but also time .

3.SYLLABUS : although syllabus is very concise and can be completed in 1 month but the teachers are unable to complete it even in 3 months , and full syllabus is never completed by them.

4 .BOOKS : There are only a few relevant books by following which a student can complete the syllabus by himself only without attending any class .these books are available here .

5. MYTH : There is a common myth among students that the students belonging to maithili speaking region can score better .But the REALITY is that in the past few years the number of successfull students belonging to non maithili region is higher .
