Cyber and Online Safety Awareness Programme at Patharkhmah

As part of the “Suraksh*t Bachpan Abhiyan (Safe Childhood Campaign)”, organised by the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Ri-Bhoi District, Nongpoh, an awareness programme on “Cyber and Online Safety” was conducted today at Patharkhmah Government Higher Secondary School.

During the programme, Officer from Patharkhmah PS delivered an informative session highlighting the importance of cyber safety, responsible internet usage and awareness of online threats. A total of 60 students participated in the programme.

Ri-Bhoi District Police remains committed to promoting cyber awareness and ensuring a safer digital environment for children and the community.

Promoting Health and Well-being!

A Health Check-up Camp was organised today by New Hope Wellness Harmony Centre at Byrnihat Police Station, wherein all available officers and staff actively participated and availed the health check-up services.

Ri-Bhoi District Police appreciates this initiative and the efforts of the organising team in promoting health awareness and encouraging police personnel to prioritise their health and well-being.

🚭 AWARENESS PROGRAMME ON TO***CO CONTROL & ORAL HEALTH

An officer from Patharkhmah Police Station participated today in an awareness-cum-sensitization programme on the National To***co Control Programme and National Oral Health Programme, organised by Patharkhamah CHC.

Around 90 students of Patharkhamah Government School were sensitised on the COTPA Act, harmful effects of to***co use, and the importance of preventing to***co consumption among young people.

Another successful recovery by the the team of the District Cyber Cell & Umsning Police Station.

The recovered mobile phone was handed over to its rightful owner after due verification, bringing the missing phone back where it belongs. 😊
