ए एन कॉलेज, पटना के नव नियुक्त प्रभारी प्राचार्य प्रो शैलेश कुमार सिंह को आज महाविद्यालय के सभी शिक्षकों ने प्राचार्य कक्ष में उपस्थित होकर पुष्पगुच्छ एवं शुभकामनाओं के साथ हार्दिक बधाई दी।

इस अवसर पर शिक्षकों ने उनके सफल, प्रेरणादायक एवं परिणामोन्मुखी कार्यकाल की कामना करते हुए विश्वास व्यक्त किया कि उनके सक्षम नेतृत्व में महाविद्यालय शैक्षणिक, प्रशासनिक एवं अनुसंधान के क्षेत्र में नई ऊँचाइयों को प्राप्त करेगा।

महाविद्यालय परिवार को आशा है कि उनके मार्गदर्शन में संस्थान निरंतर प्रगति की ओर अग्रसर रहेगा तथा उत्कृष्टता के नए मानक स्थापित करेगा।

आज दिनांक 10 अप्रैल 2026 , शुक्रवार को अनुग्रह नारायण महाविद्यालय, पटना में माननीय मुख्य अतिथि डॉ. अखिलेश प्रसाद सिंह (सदस्य राज्यसभा एवं पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री, भारत सरकार) द्वारा सांसद स्थानीय क्षेत्र विकास योजना निधि से विकसित लघु स्टेडियम (क्रीड़ा स्थल) का रिमोट के माध्यम से शिलापट्ट अनावरण कर औपचारिक उद्घाटन किया गया।

उद्घाटन समारोह महाविद्यालय के सत्येन्द्र नारायण सिन्हा सभागार में आयोजित किया गया, जिसकी शुरुआत दीप प्रज्वलन, महाविद्यालय गीत एवं स्वागत गान के साथ हुई। तत्पश्चात अतिथियों का स्वागत पुष्पगुच्छ, स्मृति चिह्न एवं अंगवस्त्र भेंट कर किया गया।

कार्यक्रम के प्रारंभ में महाविद्यालय की प्राचार्या प्रो. रेखा रानी ने स्वागत भाषण प्रस्तुत करते हुए सभी गणमान्य अतिथियों का अभिनंदन किया। उन्होंने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि खेल शारीरिक एवं मानसिक स्वास्थ्य के लिए अत्यंत आवश्यक है तथा यह विद्यार्थियों के सर्वांगीण विकास में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाता है।

मुख्य अतिथि डॉ. अखिलेश प्रसाद सिंह (माननीय सदस्य राज्यसभा एवं पूर्व केन्द्रीय मंत्री, भारत सरकार)ने अपने संबोधन में महाविद्यालय के प्रति अपनी भावनात्मक जुड़ाव व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि यह संस्था उन्हें अधिक संवेदनशील बनाती है। उन्होंने महाविद्यालय के विकास हेतु अपने सांसद निधि से 60 लाख रुपये की अतिरिक्त राशि प्रदान करने की घोषणा की। साथ ही उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि महाविद्यालय के विकास कार्यों के लिए वे सदैव तत्पर और पूर्व की भांति सक्रिय भूमिका का निर्वहन करते रहेंगे।साथ ही उन्होंने कहा कि यह नव-निर्मित क्रीड़ा मैदान के लिए महाविद्यालय परिवार को शुभकामनाएं प्रेषित की।

समारोह की अध्यक्षता करते हुए प्रो. उपेन्द्र प्रसाद सिंह, कुलपति, पाटलिपुत्र विश्वविद्यालय ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि कोई भी संस्थान तभी नई ऊंचाइयों को छूता है जब संस्थान के लोग मेहनत और ईमानदारी से अपने दायित्वों और कर्तव्यों का अनुसरण करते हैं।उन्होंने विश्वास व्यक्त किया कि यह क्रीड़ा स्थल महाविद्यालय के खिलाड़ियों को नई ऊँचाइयों तक पहुँचने में सहायक सिद्ध होगा।

विशिष्ट अतिथि प्रो. शशि प्रताप शाही, कुलपति, मगध विश्वविद्यालय ने अपने संबोधन में महाविद्यालय को अपनी कर्मभूमि बताते हुए कहा कि इस संस्थान ने उनके व्यक्तित्व निर्माण में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई है। उन्होंने कहा कि महाविद्यालय अपनी सुदीर्घ परंपरा, संस्कार,परिश्रम, शैक्षणिक गुणवत्ता एवं निरंतरता के बल पर निरंतर नए कीर्तिमान स्थापित कर रहा है।इस परंपरा को निरंतर गतिशील बनाए रखने की आवश्यकता है।उन्होंने इस पहल की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि ऐसे आधुनिक क्रीड़ा स्थल युवाओं में अनुशासन, टीम भावना एवं नेतृत्व क्षमता का विकास करते हैं तथा छात्रों को खेलों में सक्रिय भागीदारी हेतु प्रेरित किया। उन्होंने महाविद्यालय परिवार को निरंतर सक्रिय और शैक्षणिक गतिविधियों में सक्रिय रहने के लिए हार्दिक शुभकामनाएं दीं।

कार्यक्रम का सफल संचालन डॉ. अर्चना चौधरी द्वारा किया गया , जबकि धन्यवाद ज्ञापन हिंदी विभागाध्यक्ष प्रो. कलानाथ मिश्र ने प्रस्तुत किया।

इस अवसर पर जदयू महासचिव श्री रंजीत कुमार झा सहित पाटलिपुत्र विश्वविद्यालय के गणमान्य अतिथियों, महाविद्यालय के वरिष्ठ प्राध्यापकगण,बर्सर एवं क्रीड़ा अध्यक्ष अभिषेक दत्त सहित विभिन्न विभागों के प्राध्यापकगण, शिक्षकेत्तर कर्मचारी एवं बड़ी संख्या में छात्र-छात्राएँ उपस्थित रहे।

A one-day National Seminar on _Indoor Environment Quality_ was successfully organised by Anugrah Narayan College, Patna in collaboration with Society for Indoor Environment on 08 April 2026. The seminar aimed to bring together experts, academicians, researchers, and students to deliberate on challenges and sustainable solutions related to indoor air quality and environmental health, in line with the multidisciplinary approach envisioned under NEP 2020.
The programme commenced at S.N. Sinha Auditorium with the arrival of guests, followed by floral tributes and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. The Principal Prof Rekha Rani delivered the welcome address, setting the tone for the day. The Convener Prof. Tripti Gangwar presented the inaugural introduction highlighting the relevance of indoor environment studies in the current context.
The session featured two distinguished experts from the Society for Indoor Environment (SIE):

- Dr. Rakesh Kumar, President, SIE, spoke on _“Indoor-Outdoor Dilemma”_, stressing the interlinkages between ambient and indoor pollution and the need for integrated mitigation strategies.
- Dr. Priyanka Kulshreshtha, Co-founder, SIE, delivered a talk on _“The Indoor Air Quality Crisis in India: Bridging the Gap Between Environmental Science and Public Health Policy”_, highlighting evidence-based policy gaps and pathways for action.

A significant milestone of the seminar was the *announcement of an MoU between A.N. College and SIE* to promote collaborative research, capacity building, and awareness programmes in indoor environment quality. The session concluded with a Vote of Thanks by the Organising Secretary Prof. Sushil Kumar Singh. Dr. Akanksha Upadhyaya conducted the inaugural session.
The post-lunch technical session was held in the Conference Hall, Administrative Block. Sixteen papers were presented by researchers and students across diverse themes.

Participation & Outcome*
The seminar witnessed active participation from faculty members, research scholars, and UG/PG students who submitted abstracts in diverse fields of indoor environment. The event facilitated fruitful academic interaction and laid the foundation for long-term collaboration with SIE. The signing of the MoU is expected to strengthen research in water pollution and fluorosis mitigation, and expand into indoor air quality studies.
The National Seminar achieved its objectives of knowledge dissemination, stakeholder engagement, and institutional collaboration. The enthusiastic student participation and expert deliberations reaffirmed the urgent need for integrating indoor environment quality into academic curricula and research agendas.
Two hundred participants and NSS volunteers attended the seminar. Prof. Kalanath Mihra, Prof. Seema Sharma, Prof. Preety Sinha and members of organising committe Prof. Anil Kumar Singh, Dr Vineeta Prasad, Dr. Nisha Kumari, Dr. Akanksha Upadhyay, Dr. Sheerin Masroor, Dr. Amrita Chakraborty activrly involved in the succesful organisation of the Seminar.

World Health Day – 2026

World Health Day – 2026 was observed by the Bihar State AIDS Control Society on 7th April 2026 at Bapu Tower, Gardanibagh, Patna. This year’s theme, “Together for health, stand with science.”, was powerfully showcased through model exhibitions, extempore speeches, and Stage Drama Competition by enthusiastic student participants. The occasion was dignified by the presence of Prof. Ratna Amrit, Principal of B.D. College, Patna.

In the Model Exhibition category, students from various colleges displayed innovative homemade exhibits crafted from cotton, wood, and paper. We are proud to share that Bhumi Kumari, a student of the Zoology Department, A. N. College, Patna, secured the First Prize in this category.

In the Stage Drama Competition, the participants—Harsh, Ayush, Nandinee, Suraj, Nikhil, Sonali, Aditya, Nishu, Monika and Yuvraj—delivered an impressive performance and secured the third prize in this category.

Heartiest congratulations to all winners for their emerging performance and achievements!

This year, a total of fourteen students represented A. N. College in this Inter-College Competition, making the college proud with their active participation and creative contributions.

जब मंच पर ‘आषाढ़ का एक दिन’ जीवित हो उठा…

आज ए. एन. कॉलेज, पटना के मंच पर जो हुआ, वह केवल एक नाट्य प्रस्तुति नहीं थी — वह संवेदनाओं, प्रेम, विरह और त्याग का ऐसा सजीव चित्र था, जिसे देखकर दर्शकों की आँखें नम हो गईं।

छात्र–छात्राओं ने जिस भावनात्मक गहराई से “आषाढ़ का एक दिन” का मंचन किया, वह मानो कागज़ पर लिखी कहानी को जीवित कर रहा था। मंच पर खड़े कलाकार केवल पात्र नहीं रह गए थे, वे सचमुच कालिदास और मल्लिका की पीड़ा, उनके प्रेम और उनके बिछोह को जी रहे थे।

जब संवादों में विरह की पीड़ा झलकती थी, तो दर्शकों के हृदय में भी वही वेदना उतर जाती थी। कुछ क्षण ऐसे आए जब सभागार में गहरी खामोशी छा गई — और उस खामोशी में कई आँखें भीग चुकी थीं।

यह देखकर गर्व होता है कि ए. एन. कॉलेज के युवा केवल पढ़ाई में ही नहीं, बल्कि साहित्य, संस्कृति और रंगमंच की संवेदनशील परंपरा को भी उतनी ही गहराई से जीवित रखे हुए हैं।

आज के मंचन ने यह साबित कर दिया कि जब युवा मन कला से जुड़ता है, तो वह केवल अभिनय नहीं करता — वह इतिहास, साहित्य और भावनाओं को फिर से जीवित कर देता है।

ए. एन. कॉलेज के इन प्रतिभाशाली कलाकारों को हृदय से बधाई।
आपकी कला ने कल मंच को नहीं, हमारे दिलों को रोशन किया… और शायद थोड़ा भिगो भी दिया।

- Under the CSR programme of Krisna Jwellers, Patna a tree plantation drive was conducted on campus. 100 plants were donated to Anugrah Narayan College.
Department of Environmental Sciences and Eco-club Paryawaran Prahri organised following competitions for the students
1. Photography competition on the theme “ Sparrow in Urban area” to mark World Sparrow day.
2. Poster completion on the theme “Forest and Economy” to mark World Forest Day.
3 .Slogan competition on the theme “Water and Gender” to mark World Water Conservation Day
:Students demonstrated enthusiastic participation and creative engagement across all events. The entries reflected strong environmental awareness and local relevance. Winners were recognised, and the best works will be displayed on campus and featured on the department’s social media to sustain awareness.

The team “Rakt Setu,” led by Shivam Anand and Praful Shirish of Anugrah Narayan College, Patna, has been selected to participate in the Harvard Health System Innovation Lab (HSIL) Hackathon 2026 at IC IIT Patna.

The two-day hackathon will be held on April 10–11, 2026, at the Incubation Centre, IIT Patna.
