Dr. Rajendra Prasad’s original passport issued on 3 October 1947, shortly after India gained independence listed him as a “British Indian,” with his nationality recorded as “British Indian subject.”
This passport has been carefully preserved in the Private Archives Collection of the National Archives of India (NAI).
