The IISER Pune Team won the 1st place at the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Research Premier League #𝗥𝗣𝗟 Chess Tournament 2026, held during August 22–23 at ARAI, Pune. Our students played against 6 other top institutes (ARAI, C-DAC, ARDE, HEMRL, IITM, and IMD) and took home the championship trophy. to Deepti Singh, Sargam Gupta, Aadithya Pradeep, Balaram Harsh Kallakuri, Adwait Kumar, and Hrishikesh AJ !!

🔌 The SCIP journey reaches its successful conclusion! 🚀
The 10th and final workshop of the STEM Classroom Innovators Program (SCIP), offered by The Science Outreach Initiative, IISER Pune, concluded successfully.
The workshop on “Connecting Curriculum with Real-World Solutions: Strategies using Electronics”, conducted by Ms. Shivani Pulse & Mr. Ankish Tirpude, engaged 57 teachers in exploring practical, inquiry-based approaches to connect classroom concepts with real-world applications through STEM projects
🎉 With this, the 10-workshop SCIP series comes to a successful close!
Across the series, teachers explored Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics & Electronics, with a focus on making STEM learning more inquiry-driven, hands-on, relevant and learner-centred.
🌟 Thank you to all the teachers, instructors, partners and everyone who made the SCIP journey a success!
