Doctor's Day – 1st July
On Doctor's Day, we honored the healers, comforters, and true lifesavers who dedicate their lives to serving humanity. The Rotary Club of Pimpri ELITE felicitated Dr. Sameer Anil Lokhande in recognition of his professional excellence.

# A Blessed Beginning to Rotary Year 2026–27..!!

We began the Rotary Year 2026–27 on a truly auspicious note by seeking the divine blessings of Ganapati Bappa at Mangalmurti Wada on the morning of 1st July 2026. With faith, unity, and renewed enthusiasm, our members came together to pray for a year filled with meaningful service, fellowship, and the opportunity to create a lasting impact in our community.

Project Title: Digital Study App Initiative — Bridging the Learning Divide Beneficiaries: 4,200+ economically backward students (Class X, rural & semi-urban areas) - School- Priyadarshini School, Pusegaon, Satara, Kantilal Khinwasara English Medium School & Mavdi Pimpri

Need Assessment Students from economically weaker sections in rural and semi-urban Maharashtra lack access to quality supplementary learning resources. With Board examinations being a critical milestone, the absence of affordable, curriculum-aligned study tools widens the academic gap between privileged and underprivileged learners.
Implementation RC Pimpri Elite executed a two-tier intervention:
• Direct donation of Study Apps to 200+ students
• Financial contribution of ₹1,60,000 to procure and distribute 4,000 Study Apps to Class X students across targeted rural and semi-urban communities

Impact Quantitative: 4,200+ students empowered with structured digital learning tools | ₹1,60,000 mobilised | Multiple schools/communities covered Qualitative: Enhanced exam preparedness, self-paced learning, and reduced dependence on costly private tuitions — directly benefiting first-generation learners

Sustainability & Follow-Up The app-based model ensures continued year-round learning beyond the distribution date. RC Pimpri Elite is exploring annual renewal partnerships with the app provider and expansion to Class IX cohorts in the next Rotary Year.

Project Title: Leadership & Emotional Intelligence Workshop Venue: P B Patil College of Architecture, Pune Beneficiaries: 250+ Architecture Students (UG & PG) - Vocational Service / Youth Development

Need Assessment Architecture students face intense studio pressure, peer competition, and demanding client-facing careers — yet soft skills are rarely part of their curriculum. A gap analysis with faculty identified low emotional self-regulation, poor conflict resolution, and limited leadership readiness as key concerns.
Implementation RC Pimpri Elite partnered with the college to design and deliver a structured half-day workshop covering self-awareness, empathy, communication under stress, and team leadership — facilitated by trained Rotarian professionals and subject experts.

Impact Quantitative: 250+ students reached in a single intervention. Qualitative: Participants reported improved self-awareness, confidence in group settings, and clarity on professional conduct — validated through post-session feedback.

Sustainability & Follow-Up Faculty were oriented to embed EI principles in studio critique culture. RC Pimpri Elite has committed to annual repeat engagements, with the next edition planned to include a mentorship component connecting Rotarian professionals with students.

We are delighted to share the grand opening of ERPExpo on 8th May 26, where Rotary Club of Pimpri Elite is proudly associated as an Associate Partner. This initiative aligns with our focus on promoting Economic and Community Development.

We are also proud to share that from our club, President Rtn. Irrfann Aawate, PP Rtn. Ashok Shinde, and Aniket (Son of PP Rtn. Chintamani Abhyankar) have actively participated in this Expo.

With an expected footfall of over 10,000 visitors across 3 days, this platform will significantly enhance our club’s Public Image and outreach in the community.
