Bal Sabha Successfully Concluded at 19-Budang Gram Panchayat Unit
The Bal Sabha was successfully organized at 19-Budang Gram Panchayat Unit with active participation from the students of Pakkigoan Secondary School and Budang Junior High School. The programme was attended by teachers from both schools, Panchayat representatives, and the staff of the Gram Panchayat Unit.
The programme commenced with an introduction to the objectives of the Bal Sabha, emphasizing the importance of child participation in democratic decision-making, leadership development, and community engagement.
The following students contested as Bal Panchayat candidates:
- Sang Dorjee Tamang
- Purab Rai
- Ayushka Rai
- Anushka Rai
- Pranusha Mukhia
Each candidate presented and read their election manifesto before the gathering, sharing their vision and commitments for the welfare of children and the development of their schools and community.
Following the manifesto presentations, a free and fair voting process was conducted through a ballot system in the presence of teachers, Panchayat representatives, and GPU staff. After the counting of votes, the election results were officially declared.
The elected Bal Panchayat members are:
- President: Ayushka Rai
- Vice President: Anushka Rai
- Members: Sang Dorjee Tamang, Pranusha Mukhia, and Purab Rai
The newly elected President, Vice President, and Members subsequently took part in the Oath Taking Ceremony, where they solemnly pledged to discharge their duties with sincerity, honesty, and dedication while promoting leadership, teamwork, democratic values, and the welfare of children.
The 19-Budang Gram Panchayat Unit extends its heartfelt gratitude to the students of Pakkigoan Secondary School and Budang Junior High School for their enthusiastic participation, the teachers of both schools for their valuable guidance and support, and all Panchayat representatives and GPU staff for their cooperation in successfully organizing the Bal Sabha. The Gram Panchayat Unit also congratulates the newly elected Bal Panchayat and wishes them a successful tenure, expressing confidence that they will serve as responsible young leaders and actively contribute towards the welfare and development of children in their schools and the community.
