To celebrate Rotaract Week, we would love to raise awareness of Rotaract.

Rotaract was officially inaugurated during January 1968 under R.I. President Luther Hodges. World Rotaract Week, observed annually the week of 13 March, is designed to foster Rotaract-Rotary activities in celebration of the founding of the Rotaract program. This event is also an excellent opportunity to inform members of your community about the amazing work that Rotaract clubs do and give them an opportunity to get involved. Rotaract clubs and their sponsor Rotary clubs have the freedom to explore a variety of methods of participating in World Rotaract Week.

Rotaractors can decide the best way for their club to celebrate the Rotaract program – completing one, two, or an entire week’s worth of activities.

Today, Rotary Club of Green Land Silchar donated An Aqua Purifier to Barak Valley Development Welfare Society for the use in Ujjawala Shelter Home for Girls and Open Shelter Home for Boys. Rotary Couple Medical Service Projects Chairman, Rtn Dr Amit Kalwar and Membership Development Chairperson Rtn Dr Manjari Verma Kalwar donated the Water Purifier.
Rtn Dr Amit Kalwar, Rtn Dr Manjari Verma, Rtn Sushil Singh and Rtn Ashim Bhattacharjee and others were present from Rotary Club of Green Land Silchar.
Ms Ngakninei Chiru, Project Director from Ujjawala Shelter Home for Girls and Bridge Course Educator Supradip Bhattacharjee, Social Worker Joyjit Bhattacharjee from Open Shelter Home for Boys was present.

An amazing experience gathered in the recently held District 3240 TRF Seminar ANUBHUTI at Cachar Club

Indeed an excellent programme experienced by the members of our club members from Rotary Club of Greenland Silchar. Kudos to Host Club Team Rotary Club of Greater Silchar for the outstanding implementation of whole endeavour with lots of amazing chapters. Thanks to AG Harkishore for the extraordinary efforts throughout the zone to build the stone of foundation stronger. Wholeheartedly enjoyed the excellent speeches of Keynote Speaker PDG Ajay Gupta, D3141, DRFC PDG Arijit Endow, ARRFC PDG Dr Debasish Das and others dignitaries.
Gratitude and sincere acknowledgement to the generous Rotarians for their wholehearted contribution to the Rotary Foundation.
