Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo chaired a high-level review of CSC operations across J&K, calling for 100% panchayat saturation and a focused plan to expand digital services at the grassroots. He stressed timely onboarding of new services, stronger grievance redressal, promotion of DigiLocker, and support for establishing Digital Centres of Excellence in all districts.

Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Anshul Garg, reviewed winter preparedness for regulating vehicular movement on the SSG road and Zojila Pass. He stressed close coordination amongq district authorities, Police, BRO/BEACON and allied agencies, along with strict traffic enforcement, passenger facilitation, medical support, deployment of recovery machinery, and a joint control room for seamless winter mobility.

Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Anshul Garg, chaired a meeting to review preparedness for vibrant winter tourism activities at Sonamarg in view of the all-weather tunnel ensuring uninterrupted access. He stressed proactive planning by District Administration Ganderbal & SDA to promote Sonamarg as a premier winter destination. He also directed strict inspection of hotels, safety measures, and coordinated arrangements for snow clearance, traffic, emergency response & essential services.

Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Anshul Garg, reviewed ATRs on stray animal management in line with Supreme Court directions. He called for constitution of SPCAs, directed departments to enhance fencing, nominate nodal officers, launch IEC campaigns on dog-bite first aid, ensure availability of Anti-Rabies Vaccines, identify land for ABC centres, and regulate waste dumps to minimise risks.

Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo chaired a meeting to review augmentation of MBBS, PG and super-speciality seats across GMCs and allied medical institutions in J&K. He directed all colleges to fast-track proposals as soon as the NMC portal opens and emphasised strengthening DM/MCh capacity. The H&ME Department briefed on the significant increase in seats achieved last year and upcoming expansion plans.
