DRUG-FREE KASHMIR: A COLLECTIVE RESPONSIBILITY
Faizyab Care Foundation Appeals for United Action Against Drug Abuse
KARAN NAGAR, SRINAGAR:
Faizyab Care Foundation has called upon parents, teachers, youth, community leaders and civil society organizations to join hands in the fight against the growing menace of drug abuse.
Chairperson Dr. Furkand Khurshid said that drugs are destroying not only the health and future of young people but also affecting families and society as a whole. She stressed that prevention, awareness, counselling, rehabilitation and compassion must go hand in hand in creating a drug-free society.
“SAVE OUR YOUTH, SAVE OUR FUTURE”
“Every young person we protect from drugs is a family we save, a future we secure and a society we strengthen. Our fight against addiction must be continuous, united and without stigma,” said Dr. Furkand Khurshid.
Faizyab Care Foundation appealed to families to communicate openly with children, identify warning signs at an early stage and encourage youth towards education, sports, skills, healthy activities and positive community engagement.
The Foundation further urged society to treat people struggling with addiction with dignity and guide them towards professional help and rehabilitation rather than isolation.
Faizyab Care Foundation remains committed to spreading awareness and supporting community initiatives aimed at building a healthier, safer and drug-free Kashmir.
