Telangana DGP Shri C. V. Anand, IPS, chaired 6 meetings and attended a programmes today.

1. Safe City Project review with all four CPs and the Women Safety Wing.
2. Discussion on the fresh GOs for the reorganisation of the four Commissionerates, aligning them fully with the municipal corporations and distribution of men, vehicles, weapons and other logistics.
3. Police Officers’ Mess Committee meeting, where the accounts and sanction of fresh works to spruce up the facilities were discussed.
4. YIPS Police School meeting to discuss the plans for completion of the buildings in the new campus and double intake of fresh students for the next academic year to 720.
5. Police Housing Corporation Board meeting, where the implementation of the decisions taken earlier was reviewed, ongoing works were reviewed and accounts were passed.
6. Review of the Bollaram arms theft case after completion of the police remand period and the fresh findings, which will be revealed to the media soon.
7. Finally, he participated in the Cyber Security 2-Km Walk at Necklace Road along with all his officers and actor Adivi Sesh, as part of the October month-long global cyber awareness campaign.

DGP said that the day was hectic but very satisfying, as a lot of ground was covered on many issues.

Glimpses from “CYBER SECURITY FLASH - PAUSE FOR SAFETY” , a
2km Walkathon, at Necklace road this evening, conducted by Telangana Police and Cyber Security Bureau to raise awareness about cyberfrauds.

Thousands of participants from all walks of life enthusiastically joined the walk endorsing their support and reflecting the collective spirit of people marching towards a cybersafe . This Walkathon marks the beginning of a month-long awareness campaign across Telangana.

Telangana DGP Mr. C. V. Anand, IPS, thanked MYK Laticrete for extending a ₹2 crore CSR contribution towards the construction of the Young India Police School (YIPS) Academic Block.

He said the school is being developed to provide quality education to the children of police personnel as well as the wider community. He said contributions from generous organisations such as MYK Laticrete provide meaningful support to the efforts to build better infrastructure at YIPS and create facilities that will serve students for years to come.

The DGP said the contribution is a significant boost to the ongoing construction and will help expedite the work.

The DGP thanked Mr. Murali Yadama, Managing Director, MYK Laticrete, and his team for their support and for partnering in this endeavour. He said their contribution will have lasting value for the students who benefit from YIPS.

తెలంగాణ డీజీపీ శ్రీ సి. వి. ఆనంద్ గారు, యంగ్ ఇండియా పోలీస్ స్కూల్ (YIPS) అకాడమిక్ బ్లాక్ నిర్మాణానికి ₹2 కోట్ల CSR అందించిన MYK Laticrete సంస్థకు కృతజ్ఞతలు తెలిపారు.

పోలీస్ సిబ్బంది పిల్లలతో పాటు సాధారణ పౌరుల పిల్లలకు కూడా నాణ్యమైన విద్యను అందించాలనే లక్ష్యంతో ఈ పాఠశాలను అభివృద్ధి చేస్తున్నట్లు ఆయన తెలిపారు. ఇటువంటి సంస్థలు అందించే సహకారం YIPSలో మెరుగైన మౌలిక వసతులను అభివృద్ధి చేయడానికి, విద్యార్థులకు ఎన్నో సంవత్సరాల పాటు ఉపయోగపడే సౌకర్యాలను కల్పించడానికి తమ ప్రయత్నాలకు ఎంతో విలువైన తోడ్పాటును అందిస్తుందని ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు.

ఈ CSR ఫండ్ ప్రస్తుతం జరుగుతున్న నిర్మాణ పనులను మరింత వేగంగా పూర్తి చేసేందుకు దోహదపడుతుందని డీజీపీ తెలిపారు.

సైబర్ సెక్యూరిటీ అవేర్‌నెస్ మంత్ - 2026

మీరు ఏం చేస్తున్నా, ఎక్కడ నివసిస్తున్నా సైబర్ నేరం ప్రతి ఒక్కరికీ ముప్పుగా మారింది. ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా ఎంతోమంది తమ డబ్బును కోల్పోతున్నారు. తెలంగాణ పోలీస్, సైబర్ సెక్యూరిటీ బ్యూరో సైబర్ నేరాలను సమర్థవంతంగా అరికట్టేందుకు నిరంతరం కృషి చేస్తున్నప్పటికీ, కొంతమంది ఇప్పటికీ సైబర్ మోసాలకు బలవుతున్నారు. అందుకే అవగాహనే మనకు ఉన్న అత్యంత బలమైన రక్షణ.

అక్టోబర్ నెలను ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా సైబర్ సెక్యూరిటీ అవేర్‌నెస్ మంత్ గా నిర్వహిస్తున్నారు. రేపటి నుండి రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా నెల రోజుల పాటు నిర్వహించే అవగాహన కార్యక్రమాలని ప్రతి వార్డు, వీధి, సంస్థ, కమ్యూనిటీకి తీసుకెళ్తున్నాం. రేపు, అక్టోబర్ 1న, నెక్లెస్ రోడ్‌లో “CYBER SECURITY FLASH: PAUSE FOR SAFETY” పేరుతో 2 km వాక్‌తో ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని ప్రారంభిస్తున్నాం.

Cybersecurity Awareness Month 2026

is a threat to every one no matter what you do and where you live. People across the globe are loosing their money . While Police and the Cyber Security Bureau are working relentlessly and tackling cybercrime effectively, some people still fall prey to cyber frauds. So awareness remains our strongest defence.

October is observed globally as Cybersecurity Awareness Month. In Telangana, we are taking this message to every ward, street, institution and community through a month-long statewide awareness campaign. We are kicking it off tomorrow, October 1, with “CYBER SECURITY FLASH - PAUSE FOR SAFETY”, a 2-km night awareness walk at Necklace Road.

We invite you to join us at 6 PM. Let us walk together, spread awareness about cyber fraud. Walk with us for a safer digital Telangana.

Telangana DGP Shri C. V. Anand, IPS, today interacted with 112 probationary DSPs undergoing training at the RBVRR Telangana Police Academy and addressed them on the importance of leadership in policing. He said that true leadership is not defined by titles or authority, but by courage, vision, integrity, teamwork, effective communication, hard work, innovation and, above all, humility. He stressed that maintaining the highest ethical standards and safeguarding one’s reputation are essential throughout a long career in public service.

Following their one-year training at the Academy, the probationary DSPs will proceed to the districts for a further 11 months of training before completing their training period.

Later, the DGP presented prizes to the winners of Cluster-C of the 5th Telangana Police Sports and Games Meet-2026. Over 700 police personnel took part in badminton, lawn tennis and table tennis. He noted that the introduction of the cluster system, aligned with the All India Police Sports and Games calendar, would provide a structured platform to identify sporting talent, allow adequate time for training and practice, and offer greater competitive exposure, enable Telanagana Police sportspersons perform well at higher-level competitions

తెలంగాణ డీజీపీ శ్రీ సి.వి. ఆనంద్, ఐపీఎస్., ఈరోజు RBVRR తెలంగాణ పోలీస్ అకాడమీలో శిక్షణ పొందుతున్న 112 మంది ప్రొబేషనరీ డీఎస్పీలతో సమావేశమై, పోలీసింగ్‌లో నాయకత్వ ప్రాధాన్యతపై ప్రసంగించారు.

నాయకత్వం అనేది పదవి లేదా అధికారంతో కాకుండా ధైర్యం, దూరదృష్టి, నిజాయితీ, సమిష్టి పని, సమర్థవంతమైన కమ్యూనికేషన్, కష్టపడి పనిచేయడం, నూతన ఆలోచనలు, ముఖ్యంగా వినయంతో నిరూపించబడుతుందని ఆయన అన్నారు. ప్రజాసేవలో సుదీర్ఘ కాలం అత్యున్నత నైతిక విలువలను పాటిస్తూ, తమ మంచి పేరు, ప్రతిష్ఠను కాపాడుకోవడం ఎంతో ముఖ్యమని సూచించారు.

అకాడమీలో ఏడాది శిక్షణ పూర్తిచేసుకున్న అనంతరం ప్రొబేషనరీ డీఎస్పీలు జిల్లాలకు వెళ్లి మరో 11 నెలల శిక్షణ పొందనున్నారు.

అనంతరం 5వ తెలంగాణ పోలీస్ స్పోర్ట్స్ అండ్ గేమ్స్ మీట్–2026లోని క్లస్టర్–C విజేతలకు డీజీపీ బహుమతులు అందజేశారు. బ్యాడ్మింటన్, లాన్ టెన్నిస్, టేబుల్ టెన్నిస్ పోటీల్లో 700 మందికి పైగా పోలీసు సిబ్బంది పాల్గొన్నారు.

ఆల్ ఇండియా పోలీస్ స్పోర్ట్స్ అండ్ గేమ్స్ క్యాలెండర్‌కు అనుగుణంగా క్లస్టర్ విధానాన్ని ప్రవేశపెట్టడం ద్వారా క్రీడా ప్రతిభను గుర్తించడం, తగిన శిక్షణకు సమయం కల్పించడం, పోటీ అనుభవాన్ని పెంచడం సాధ్యమవుతుందని డీజీపీ తెలిపారు. తద్వారా తెలంగాణ పోలీస్ క్రీడాకారులు ఉన్నతస్థాయి పోటీల్లో మరింత మెరుగ్గా రాణించేందుకు అవకాశం లభిస్తుందని పేర్కొన్నారు.
