TB Screening Camp Conducted at Kidakakkuzhi under the Leadership of Adani Group
A TB screening camp was successfully conducted on 24th September 2025 at Kidakakkuzhi, organized by the Lions Club in association with the Adani Group. Staff from District TB centre, Nemom TB Unit, FHC Mukkola actively participated in the camp.

โTogether for a TB-Free Tomorrow โ District Level Tribal Health Camp at Nedumangadu Unit"
Date: 15/09/2025- 02/10/2025
Venue: Nedumangadu TU
Organized by: District TB Centre in collaboration with HLL Mobile Medical Unit .
Support and services were privided the District TB Centre, Nedumangadu STS, STLS, TBHV, ICTC counselor, technician, FHC Perungamala JHI, and other field staff.
This camp was an important initiative aimed at TB screening and spreading awareness about health among the tribal population, contributing significantly to community health care.

An analysis of district-level mortality due to tuberculosis was conducted to identify the underlying causes and contributing factors. The discussion also focused on possible preventive strategies to reduce TB-related deaths. The review and recommendations were made in consultation with the District Death Audit Committee.
