Lok Bhavan Keralam celebrated the Foundation Days of Goa and Sikkim today as part of the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiative.
Hon’ble Governor Shri Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar inaugurated the function and interacted with the invited guests from Goa and Sikkim, highlighting the importance of strengthening national integration through cultural exchange and mutual understanding.
The celebration featured a variety of cultural performances presented by the guests, showcasing the rich traditions, heritage and artistic diversity of Goa and Sikkim, and reflecting the spirit of India’s unity in diversity.

Cadet Yathun E.P. of 6 Kerala Battalion NCC, who proudly represented the Kerala & Lakshadweep Directorate at the prestigious Republic Day Camp (RDC) 2026 in the Best Cadet Competition, called on Hon'ble Governor Shri Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar along with his parents and NCC officials.

In a remarkable achievement, he has now been selected for the Youth Exchange Programme (YEP) to Vietnam, where he will serve as a Youth Ambassador of India and Kerala, representing the nation and the state on an international platform.
