Essays and drawings by school students from different schools under the sub-division were featured in today's Shillong Times.

The students have done a great job! We hope it encourages children to keep writing and reading, making art, and engaging in other creative pursuits.

International Women's Day was celebrated by felicitating women working in various sectors under Dadenggre sub-division, including police officials, teachers, lady supervisors under ICDS, nurses, ASHA workers and members of the community. It was inspiring to hear about the exceptional work done by them, and we wish them the best in continuing to serve the state with dedication and enthusiasm.

Prizes were also distributed to school students for the essay and drawing competitions held by the office.

A special thanks to students of Bethel Higher Secondary School who performed a lovely song.

A meeting was held today at Damal Asim subcentre, with M&HO and BPM of Dadenggre CHC, Nokmas and gaoburas, VHC members, ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers, ANMs, and local dais.

Issues that contribute to low institutional delivery were discussed, along with other problems. Officials from PHE department were also present, and action points were decided to ensure water supply to the facility.

The good work done by Baljek Aduma in improving institutional delivery was appreciated.

The Indian Air Force has announced Open Recruitment Rallies for eligible and aspiring candidates who wish to serve the nation with pride and honor.

A meeting was held at Magalpara subcentre under Dadenggre CHC, with local dais (traditional birth helpers), ASHAs, ANMs, Anganwadi workers and Village Health Council members from neighbouring villages.

The visit was planned in view of the high occurrence of home births under this subcentre, to understand the root causes of this issue, and to spread awareness about the importance of institutional delivery and its short and long term benefits for maternal and child health. Dais were urged to advise pregnant women and families to seek out institutional care.

SDO (Civil), BDO Dadenggre, and MO, Dadenggre CHC attended along with other staff from health department.

Monthly review meeting on Reproductive and Child Health (RCH) & Routine Immunization (RI) was held at Dadenggre CHC, with SDO (Civil), M&HO, Dadenggre CHC, CDPO and various health sector functionaries.

Performance of subcentres under Dadenggre CHC was discussed across various fronts such as immunisation coverage, institutional delivery, antenatal care, home based newborn care etc.

Problems faced in certain areas by different functionaries, especially ANMs, were examined. Action points were decided for follow-up. Good performance in improving health indicators in areas which have historically lagged behind was also appreciated.

Mock exercise in disaster management was carried out today at Dadenggre subdivision by the sub-divisional Incident Response Team (IRT) which consisted of staff, officials from line departments, Police, Fire & Emergency Services, and medical unit from Dadenggre CHC. Search and rescue operations were carried out done by SDRF and Yuva Aapada Mitra teams. Members of Dadenggre Youth Club also provided timely and valuable assistance in operations on the ground.

Emergency response was simulated for two incidents: landslide at Songadinggre and breakout of fire at Dadenggre petrol pump.

The exercise served to help us review the sub-division's preparedness for disasters and the robustness of response systems. We thank the public for their cooperation.

Publication of Draft Electoral Roll for 20-Raksamgre, 21-Naguapara and 22-Jengjal GHADC Constituencies was completed on 4th February.

Draft Electoral Rolls were handed over by SDO (Election), Dadenggre to representatives of various political parties.
