Immediate Requirement
VAF wishes to recruit a Junior Researcher to support its ongoing activities of research and consulting. The ideal candidate shall be under 30 years of age with a post-Graduate in rural development related fields (livelihood, social development, agriculture, public health, governance etc) with a minimum of 3 years of work experience in the related field. The initial appointment will be for six months, extendable based on performance and project requirements.
Location- The position is based in Pune with extensive travel for the projects.

VikasAnvesh Foundation is a Research Centre working on unattended issues of the marginalized rural people of India. Since its formation in 2017, VAF has engaged in researching on several cutting edge yet often neglected themes. VikasAnvesh Foundation is offering a 15 day exclusive course in collaboration with Center for Advocacy Studies (NCAS). The course is designed for practitioners from NGOs and CSOs, social workers and students. Fourth Annual Conference "Rural India: Coping with Challenges and Uncertainty" will feature the following four themes:
We encourage papers based on field observations and data on the above four themes.
Young researchers in related disciplines are encouraged to participate actively. We also encourage “voices from the
ground” in the sessions. CSOs and others working with communities on the ground are requested to connect to share
such voices which would bring out vivid instances of the issues under discussion even though they may not be formally
documented research studies.
Suggestions and offers for holding sessions on themes not listed above are welcome and concerned persons should revert
asap to us
