پشتی کومبوونێن د ناڤبەرا سەرۆکێن زانكویان و هەمی راگرێن کۆلیژان، لێكه‌تێگه‌هشتنه‌ك هاتە ئیمزا کرن و نوکە هاتیە رەوانەکرن بۆ دەستەیا پشتبەستنا زانكویا بۆ پەسەندکرنێ. ئەڤ پێنگاڤە دێ بیتە ئەگەرێ ب ئاسانكرنا چالاکێن ئەکادیمی و ڤەکۆلینان، و گوهۆڕینا قوتابی و مامۆستایان د ناڤبەرا هەردوو زانكویاندا، کو ئەڤە پێنگاڤەکا گەلەک گرنگە د بیاڤێ خواندنا بلند دا د ناڤبەرا هه‌رێما كوردستانێ و عێراق و سریلانكا دا.

سوپاسی و پێزانینێن خۆ ئاراستەی سەرۆک وەزیران و وه‌زیرا پەروەردێ، دکتۆر هارینی ئاماراسۆریا، و بالیۆزا سریلانكا ل دەولەتا ئیمارات، دکتۆر ئارۆشا کۆری دکەین بۆ هاریکاری و رێ نیشاندانا وان د بجهئینانا ڤێ پرۆژەی دا. هەروەسا سوپاسیا سەرۆکێن زانكویان و هەمی راگران ل زانكویا دهۆکێ و زانكویا روحونا دکەین، و هیڤیا سەرکەفتنێ بۆ کارێن داهاتی یێن قونسڵخانەیا فەخری یا سریلانكا ل هەرێما کوردستانێ دخوازین.

توقيع مذكرة تفاهم استراتيجية بين جامعتي دهوك وروحونا السريلانكية
في إطار سعيها الدؤوب لتعزيز التعاون العلمي الدولي، أبرمت جامعة دهوك في إقليم كوردستان العراق مذكرة تفاهم (MoU) مع جامعة روحونا في جمهورية سريلانكا، تهدف إلى إرساء قواعد التعاون الأكاديمي والبحثي المشترك.

وقد انبثقت هذه المبادرة عن مقترح قدمته القنصلية السريلانكية، ثمرةً للمشاورات البنّاءة التي أجراها الدكتور أحمد جلال، القنصل الفخري لجمهورية سريلانكا الديمقراطية الاشتراكية في إقليم كوردستان، مع دولة رئيسة الوزراء ووزيرة التربية والتعليم في سريلانكا، الدكتورة هاريني أماراسوريا.

وبعد سلسلة من المداولات المستفيضة بين رئاسة الجامعتين وعمداء الكليات المعنية، تمت مراسم توقيع الاتفاقية وإحالتها إلى هيئة المنح الجامعية للمصادقة الرسمية. وستشكل هذه المذكرة إطاراً قانونياً وتنظيمياً لتفعيل الأنشطة البحثية، وتسهيل برامج التبادل المعرفي للطلاب وأعضاء الهيئة التدريسية، مما يمثل نقلة نوعية في علاقات التعليم العالي بين العراق وسريلانكا.

وبهذه المناسبة، نتقدم بوافر الشكر والتقدير إلى دولة رئيسة الوزراء، الدكتورة هاريني أماراسوريا، وسعادة سفيرة سريلانكا لدى دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، الدكتورة أروشا كوري، على دعمهما المحوري وتوجيهاتهما السديدة التي ساهمت في إنجاح هذا المشروع. كما نثمن الجهود المخلصة التي بذلها رؤساء وعمداء جامعتي دهوك وروحونا، مع خالص تمنياتنا للقنصلية الفخرية السريلانكية في الإقليم بالتوفيق والسداد في تعزيز جسور التعاون الثنائي.

"Official Signing of a Strategic MoU Between the University of Duhok and the University of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka"
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was recently signed to establish academic cooperation between the University of Duhok in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and the University of Ruhuna in Sri Lanka.

Following discussions between Dr. Ahmed Jalal, the Honorary Consul of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka in the Kurdistan Region, and Hon. Dr. Harini Amarasooriya, the Prime Minister and Minister of Education of Sri Lanka, the Sri Lankan Consulate proposed this collaborative program to the universities of both nations.

After extensive deliberations between the Vice-Chancellors and Deans of both institutions, the MoU was officially signed and forwarded to the University Grants Commission for final approval. This agreement will facilitate joint research, academic activities, and student and staff exchange programs, marking a significant milestone in higher education cooperation between Iraq and Sri Lanka.

We express our sincere gratitude to Hon. Dr. Harini Amarasooriya, Prime Minister and Minister of Education of Sri Lanka, and Hon. Dr. Arusha Cooray, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the UAE, for their invaluable guidance and support. We also extend our thanks to the leadership and faculty of both universities and offer our best wishes for the future endeavors of the Honorary Consulate of Sri Lanka in the Kurdistan Region.

Statement of Condemnation

- Condemning the missile attack on the private residence of the President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq -

The Honorary Consulate of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq absolutely does not condone the attacks launched by Iranian-affiliated militia groups throughout the Kurdistan Region, and the launching of such baseless attacks adds a black mark to the history of world politics.

The attack on the private residence of His Excellency Nechirvan Barzani, the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq, located in Duhok, in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, is strongly condemned, and such actions are a threat to the sovereignty of that state.

The way Iraq and the Kurdistan Regional Government are keeping their people safe and acting independently at this time in the face of the crisis in the Middle East is very commendable, and we believe that no good will come of such baseless attacks, politically or economically, on any state or its people.

ඉරාකයේ කුර්දිස්තාන් කලාපයේ ශ්‍රී ලංකා ප්‍රජාතන්ත්‍රවාදී සමාජවාදී ජනරජයේ ගෞරවනීය කොන්සල් කාර්යාලය, කුර්දිස්තාන් කලාපය පුරා ඉරානයට අනුබද්ධ මිලීෂියා කණ්ඩායම් විසින් දියත් කරන ලද ප්‍රහාර කිසිසේත් අනුමත නොකරන අතර, එවැනි පදනම් විරහිත ප්‍රහාර දියත් කිරීම ලෝක දේශපාලන ඉතිහාසයට කළු පැල්ලමක් එක් කරයි.

The Honorary Consul of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq attended the Asia Regional Conference held in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The conference was attended by 120 Honorary Consuls from all over the world. The inaugural ceremony was graced by the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka, Dr. Harini Amarasuriya and the Honorable Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism of Sri Lanka, Mr. Vijitha Herath.

Dr. Ahmed Jalal, Honorary Consul of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka in the Kurdistan Region, attended the celebration of the Birthday of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan, hosted by Ambassador Akira Endo at Erbil Rotana Hotel.
The event provided an opportunity for diplomatic engagement and strengthening international relations.
