What did you get from the Yule lads last night?

In Iceland there are 13 Yule Lads who travel down from the mountains and bring presents, or potatoes, to children. They leave there shoes in the windows of there homes over night and in the morning see if the have gotten treats.🎁

We just had to go out for a little walk around the center of Reykjavík in the stunning winter-light today. This is City Hall and the pond, frozen over and covered in snow.

Well its time to start celebrating the christmas spirit. A fun and unusual way to decorate the christmas tree.🎄

One of the subjects for our foldable houses looking very wintery today :)

We've been busy cutting out our foldable houses at the office for the hanging mobiles (Órói). It's a nice way to pass the time and pretty fitting in this gloomy weather

We wanted to make an illustration to celebrate the music festival Iceland Airwaves Music Festival since one of the main venue happens to be Iðnó, one of the models in our foldable houses series. Happy Airwaves!!!
