Cooperation among countries helps to solve joint problems through the sharing of knowledge and best practices. Cooperation among countries can be an effective tool to strengthen, apportion and accelerate health development within countries and across regions.

Research can find answers to
things that are unknown, filling
gaps in knowledge and changing
the way that healthcare professionals work.

It has been argued that nothing is certain other than mortality and we cannot
know what the future holds.
However, Kamel Ghribi believes that
there is no self-knowledge but an historical one and in this age of strife he
would hope that the new generation of
political and business leaders can learn from their predecessors' mistakes
and move forward into the future not in
fear, but rather, in acceptance of the
tremendous challenges and responsibilities facing them ahead.

Climate change is expected to make agricultural development in Africa more challenging: farmers who depend on rain to grow crops are already feeling the effects.

Summits, Forums and meetings such as the ECAM sideline roundtables help to identify areas of real needs, create frameworks of cooperation and result in joint strategies that make long/term partnerships between the Africa and the EU real and operative rather than just an ideological pipedream.

ECAM roundtable meetings give particular focus was given to projects in the healthcare sector. The ECAM President Kamel Ghribi stated “It is time to push and target the needs of the population and shift the mentality we have of charity towards Africa towards a more serious commitment to investment and partnerships. Africa no longer needs donations; Africa needs a serious commitment to beneficial and profitable partnerships. We are gathered here today to achieve this by transforming our words into actions and give a future to our children.”
