The integrity of the legal system depends on fairness, consistency, and respect for judicial decisions.
The people of The Gambia deserve:
• Transparency
• Accountability
• Equal application of the law
Justice must not only be done — it must be seen to be done.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. SHOW THE EVIDENCE.
If the State truly had proof, it would have been presented clearly in court — not hidden behind narratives and pressure.
A court has already spoken.
So why the immediate re-arrest?
If you respect the law, you follow due process — you appeal.
You don’t act in ways that make justice look manipulated.
This is not about politics anymore.
This is about truth, justice, and the credibility of our system.
Gambians are not blind.
Gambians are not fools.
We are asking one simple thing:
👉 Where is the evidence?
Not stories.
Not accusations.
Not propaganda.
Evidence.
If it exists — show it.
If it doesn’t — stop misleading the people.

On April 4, 1960, Senegal gained its freedom, marking the beginning of a journey of courage, unity, and resilience. Today, we celebrate not just independence, but the rich culture, traditions, and achievements of a nation that continues to inspire across Africa and the world.

hear the pain in your words—and it’s completely understandable. What’s happening is not something any people “deserve.” No nation deserves violence, fear, or instability, especially when ordinary citizens are simply trying to live their lives in peace.
In The Gambia, like in many countries, situations like this often come from a mix of deeper issues—not because the people did something wrong. Some of the common factors can include:
• Political tensions or power struggles behind the scenes
• Misinformation or manipulated narratives that create division
• Security challenges or isolated incidents that escalate
• External influences or internal rivalries that affect stability
Sometimes, citizens clearly reject violence—as you said—but events are driven by individuals, groups, or systems beyond the control of the general population.
What matters is this:
• Your voice against violence matters
• Calling for truth, justice, and accountability is the right stance
• Wanting peace does not make you weak—it makes you principled
Moments like this can feel confusing and unfair, especially when it seems like things are happening despite people asking for peace. But history shows that nations move forward when people continue to stand for justice, demand transparency, and refuse to be divided.
A CALL FOR TRUTH AND JUSTICE
It has come to my attention that the full truth surrounding the killing of these officers may not yet be clearly known. There are serious concerns that a narrative may have been constructed to place blame on members of the opposition, particularly the UDP — potentially to create division and fuel political tension.
In light of this, I strongly call for the establishment of an independent panel to conduct a transparent and thorough investigation.
Don't forget Gambia's Aji Sarr, Mama Jabbi, who is a foreigner - yes, a foreigner from Casamance, is the one responsible for all these problems our country.
I will leave the comment section with you.
