Our WARLORD of the Week from 2 February is AD3 Pearson from DET-6!

AD3 Pearson is from Charleston, South Carolina! He enjoys playing video games and exploring taco shops in Tokyo. His favorite food is premium otoro tuna sushi and favorite restaurant is Sushiro.

AD3 is recognized by his dedication to his duties as Hanger Bay AOR petty officer and always lending a hand to the task at hand. His attention to detail and determination was instrumental in the functional check flights of our aircraft prior to deployment.

Our WARLORD of the Week from 26 January is PS3 Agbo from Admin!

PS3 Agbo hails from Bronx, New York! His hobbies are photography, DJing, and working out at the gym. His favorite restaurant used to be Yakiniku King, but is now Mam’s Kitchen!

PS3 Agbo is recognized as a subject matter expert in resolving complex personnel discrepancies and preventing financial hardship for sailors. PS3 has represented the Administrative Department during HSM-51 Command Indoctrination, briefing incoming Sailors on pay entitlements and personnel services to ensure their success in the command. Furthermore, he spearheaded the processing of FY-26 Special Leave Accrual ensuring 100% compliance with Navy regulations while actively engaging as Treasurer and cabinet member of the NAF Atsugi Base Junior Sailor Association.

Our WARLORD of the Week from 22 January and new Frockee belongs to HM3 Hernandez-Herra from Medical!

HM3 Hernandez-Herra hails from Georgia, Atlanta! Her favorite hobbies are going to the gym, watching movies, and traveling, with TGIF as her favorite restaurant.

HM3 accurately screened three HSM-51 Detachments’ medical readiness for their deployment across SEVENTH Fleet and represented Medical for new check-ins across HSM-51, HSM-77, and HSC-12 by filing and updating their records for future deployments. Furthermore, she continues to actively engage as Treasurer and a cabinet member of HSM-51 Junior Sailor Association.

We recently celebrated LCDR “MAC”Allen’s last flight at HSM-51. LCDR Allen was the DET 5 OIC and the squadron Maintenace Officer , leading the team to an impressive 96% on the 2025 Aviation Maintenace Inspection.

HSM-51 had the distinguished pleasure of flying-in Santa Claus for our Children’s Christmas Party!

Our children’s Christmas party was bursting with festive fun—from cheerful music and colorful decorations to games, treats, and lots of happy little faces. Seeing the kids light up with excitement truly made the season feel extra special.
