Please join us TOMORROW for "1 Degree of Separation", at 1000, 1400 or 1630 in the Trilogy Ballroom. This is preventative entertainment that blends laughter and comedy with an authentic sharing of the comedians' lived experiences of depression and suicidal risks. This program is open to all active duty, family members and DOD civilians (age 12+). NO SIGN UP NECESSARY!
The show aim is to spark dialogue, raise awareness, and foster acceptance for those suffering from depression and su***de through a combination of laughter and shared vulnerability. The comedians use humor to address dark topics, because laughter helps release pain by openly discussing these issues to break the cycle of shame. With a eam of comedians, their collective mission is to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health and share stories of hope, happiness, and triumph.
