Only those in the red, orange, or pink zones on the attached map are advised to move inland.

There is no evacuation order for Misawa Air Base.

NOTE: There is no tsunami warning or evacuation notice at this time.

When there is a warning, if you are not in the tsunami hazard area (see attached map), you do not need to evacuate.

If you are in the hazard area during a warning and do have to evacuate, please see the evacuation shelter locations on the attached map, or head to the base if you have access.
