Dear Sir,

From May 31st through the long, unrelenting month of June, I walked through fire, a crucible that tested every fiber of my resolve.

I told myself, when the noise fades and the dust finally settles, I want to be able to look you in the eye and say with absolute clarity, I never gave in. Not to rage, not to provocation, not to the countless distractions designed to shake my focus or blur my judgment. Dahil alam ko Sir, na iyon din ang sasabihin mo. Magpakumbaba, huwag pumatol sa galit, kasinungalingan, at masasakit na salita.

This is the quiet nobility of the man that is Rody Duterte. Ito ang tahimik mong isinilsil sa utak at puso naming mga itinuring mong kapamilya. 🫶🏻

Through it all, even through the tears, I stood my ground, Sir. Dahil palagi kong iniisip, I will roll with the punches for the sake of my principal.

And today, I can say with pride: your loyal foot soldier never wavered. I remained faithful to my duty, to my promise, and to the cause we serve.

A hundred and thirty days may feel like a lifetime for you, and for all of us who have worked tirelessly, unceasingly, to find every possible way to bring you home.
