BBC indicates that ready-to-use therapeutic Foods (RUTFs) are excellent in saving the lives of children suffering from malnutrition.
It highlights the importance of RUTFs among children under the age of five including those from vulnerable populations, suffering from severe acute malnutrition.
RUTFs are life - saving therapeutic food, made with a special mix of proteins, carbohydrates, oils, fasts and a host of vitamins and minerals.
