EMBU AMONG LEADING COUNTIES IN 'GHETTO' LAND TITLING

In todays editorial, as reported by the Star newspaper, page 12, property prices in several informal settlements across the country including counties like Kiambu, Nyeri, Embu and Kirinyaga have witnessed a significant surge in recent months, according to narratives by several inhabitants of these settlements. This upward trend follows the upgrading initiatives carried out by the Second Kenya Informal Settlement Improvement Project (KISIP2), supported by the World Bank, Agence Française de Développement (AFD), and the European Union. Pundits opine that these improvements aim to enhance living conditions and foster urban development.
