Kericho Governor what is going on with this politics

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has planted several informers and Kingpins across the country to help the United Opposition strategise ahead of the 2027 General Election.

The former DP is specifically targeting the Rift Valley region, the political bed rock of President William Samoei Ruto, to help mobilise supporters ahead of the polls.

In Rift Valley, Gachagua is working with politicians, among them Emurua Dikirr MP Johana Ngeno and former Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter.

In the grand plan, Gachagua is grooming regional kingpins in anticipation that should the united opposition form the next government, they will appoint the said Kingpins to the government.

A week ago, while at Citizen TV live interview from his Karen home, Gachagua revealed that he has a great friend who is a sitting Member of Parliament from South Rift whom he said had promised to stand with him during his impeachment.

A source privy to the unfolding political equation intimated that Ngong (the Emurua Dikirr MP) is being bank rolled to mount aggressive grassroot mobilisation to endear himself to the residents of Rift Valley as their kingpin.

Hon. Ngong has been mandated to recruit several politicians among them Kericho Governor Dr. Erick Mutai and other young tugs to join his bandwagon.

No wonder, during last week trial of Dr. Mutai impeachment at the senate, a number of senators allied to Wamunyoro voted in solidarity with other senators to terminate the impeachment of Mutai on technicality of 2/3 threshold that was not achieved by Kericho MCAs during the impeachment of Governor Mutai.
