To everyone who has applied for the COC exams but whose FQE approval is still pending:
Please note that the exam application deadline does not affect you as long as you have already submitted your application.
Once your FQE is approved, you will then proceed to make the required payment.
Kindly remain patient as the approval process is being finalized. Thank you for your understanding.

The Clinical Officers Council (COC) welcomed the inauguration of its newly appointed Board, chaired by Dr. Joseph Choge, during a ceremony at Afya House presided over by the Cabinet Secretary for Health, Hon. Aden Duale.

The Board will oversee the Council’s mandate to regulate the training, registration, licensing, and professional conduct of Clinical Officers in Kenya.

Congratulations to the newly appointed Members of the Board of Directors of the Clinical Officers Council following the publication of your appointment in the Kenya Gazette dated 27th February 2026.

COC | Clinical Officers Council

The Clinical Officers Council is conducting sensitization sessions for all Clinical medicine, final-year students from 9th to 13th February 2026.

The purpose of these sessions is to provide guidance and support to students in preparation for the COC Pre-Internship Examination. All final-year students are encouraged to participate.

The results for the September 2025 Examinations are now out! 🎓
All candidates can access their results through the COC Portal after completing the evaluation form.

The Council congratulates all successful candidates on their achievement and wishes them continued success in their professional journey.

📢 The Clinical Officers Council (COC) will be participating in the 27th Annual KCOA Conference 2025 from October 15th to 17th at Lake Naivasha Resort.

Our offices will be closed during this period, but normal services will be available at our service desk at the conference venue.
Clinical Officers planning to renew their licenses are reminded to carry valid CPD evidence for verification.

📢 Official Notice – Kiambu County Interns

All interns posted at Gatundu Sub-County Hospital, Thika Level 5 Hospital, and Tigoni Hospital have been redeployed to new internship centers.

Interns are required to collect their redeployment letters from the Ministry of Health headquarters and report to their new stations without delay.

The Clinical Officers Council today, 17 September 2025, conducted the Pre-Internship Examination for candidates completing their professional training.

This quality-assurance examination is a mandatory step before the one-year supervised internship and eventual registration as Clinical Officers.
