COMMITTEE COMMENCES APPROVAL HEARINGS FOR LOCAL CONTENT DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE NOMINEES

The County Assembly Committee on Labour, Gender and Youth Affairs today commenced the approval hearing exercise for nominees appointed to serve on the Local Content Development Committee.

Appearing before the Committee were:

1. Dr. Kamar Imana David – Nominee for Chairperson
2. Ms. Alice Lomodei – Nominee representing Women
3. Ms. Millicent Nang’or Lokaale – Nominee representing the Turkana Professional Association

The Committee is undertaking the exercise in accordance with the relevant approval procedures, assessing the nominees’ qualifications, experience, suitability and capacity to serve on the Committee.

The vetting exercise is scheduled to conclude tomorrow, 29 September 2026.
